@Luiz modern shells aren't really affected by sloping the like they used to be. That's why most tanks you see anymore are fairly boxy and not really angled much. They mostly use it at this point for getting a little extra thickness in places where they don't need the space they would get from completely vertical armor

Also using physical impact can either do nothing or obliterate a whole fort (lul)

Up to what extents can you mod these guns? Because I wonder if could you possibly make an "HESH" (High Explosive Squash Head) round?

It would be basically a round that ideally should not go through more than one layer of material, and its PHYSICAL impact should be enough to delete most objects in the game (if not all objects/materials, since a HESH shell is basically a LOT of High Explosive being spreaded over the surface of what it hits).
Its HE effect should be a bit smawller and weaker than that of the HE cannon, but it should launch fragments from basically what was the "Behind"/back side of what it hits (Basically not fragmentation in 360 degrees, and not necessarely paralle to its course, as if a HESH shell in IRL hits a steel plate it launches fragments from the other side of the steel plate, kinda as if the explosion was happening from the other side of the plate. Thats how HESH works against metal IRL)

If possible to model this it would be great.

If I recall correctly IRL while APCR was faster than normal "full caliber AP shells" it likely was lesser accurate than AP if I recall correctly. And for a fact in real life APCR was in fact terrible against angled armor. (This likely can not be properly modeled correctly in this game)

A very easy fix for this would be to rename the APCR to either APDS or APFSDS (ideally the APFSDS)

@Fuhrer_Piggi this would make little practical sense since the cannon has no damage dropoff over distance. therefore HEAT would behave almost identical to APCR with the little diffrence that it might have a penetrating incendiary effect.

@cubanwargaming Its aphe not heap. Also there is no way to properly model hesh (the same with heat). Hesh squashes when hitting armor rends big chunk of it in form of shnaperls which damages everything behind armor.

Its heap, i didnt call it heat cuz it translates to high explosive anty tank
And hesh should not be able to destroy wooden braces but both 1 shot cores on direct hit and 1shot almost all modules

well, the only way i see hesh, is as a upgrade to the he cannon, while hesh has the same "penetration" as the ap variant, and the same splash damage as the he shell. For that have a look at cannon+, it lets you upgrade my cannons to his variant, which is similar to what i described

he (hig explosive)
apcr (armor piersing composite rigid)
apds (armor piersind discarding sabot)
apfsds (armor piersin fin-stabilized dicarding sabot)
heap (hig explosive anty protection)
hesh (high explosive scuash head) (add this one plz, it deal bonus dm to inner modules like gun or storages)
theese are the translation to shell names

Well, i should consider nerfing the apcr gun :D. Even tho it seems like beeing pretty easy to restrict a shells aoe cone, i dont think this is currently possible by modding

apcr also should cost arownd 1.70 times more than ap since it snips cores better
