Hahaha, you might want to disable some addons! If you disable all addons (there's a button for this in the menu) and re-enable only what you need, it should run smoothly.

Also, the newest version is quite a bit more optimized.

@ufaneca - Weird, the map should automatically download if you subscribed to it. This is the old version, just so you know. Search for ttt_nuclear_power_b2 for the newer one. If you can't get it to work here, it's also available on garrysmod.org . All you need to do is search! Have fun :)

Beta 2 release of TTT_Nucelar_Power is on it's way! :) I only have a few things to finish up before I release it. Beta 2 should fix a bug causing the elevators to get stuck, and you will be able to break out of the elevator. The elevator shafts will be completely playable (with ladders), and there will be ventilation ducts that lead from the elevator shafts back to the main areas. Beta 2 will also address a bug concerning the pipes in the sewer. Some people were having trouble crawling through the pipes easily, getting stuck, etc. The sewer pipes are fixed and will be smoothly traversable in the next release.

For those of you having missing textures (a small minority), to be honest there isn't much I can do to help you. It's a problem that as far as I can tell, is unrelated to the map. All of the relevant textures are packed into the map and as long as Counter-Strike: Source is mounted, it should work just fine. You may have to re-install Garry's Mod, CS:S, etc. to fix underlying issues that are unrelated to the map itself. I've even had to do that before to fix missing textures.

Andersontho - CS:S stands for Counter-Strike: Source, a game that Trouble in Terrorist Town depends on. If you don't have it you'll need to buy it from Steam, or there might be a content pack for CS:S that you could search for and install instead. I'm not sure, since I simply bought the game.

ŁҜЯ_Launcher_[FR] - What orange tube are you talking about exactly? If you have pink and black textures, you might need to reinstall Gmod or CS:S to fix it. This can happen randomly sometimes, and it's happened to me before. It's a problem unrelated to the map.

Sonic The Hedgehog - I'm sorry you're having issues, but it's hard to tell what your specific problem is unless I see it for myself. Your problem though is most likely unrelated to the map itself, and solving it could range from making sure CS:S is mounted to re-installing Garry's Mod, CS:S, etc. to fix underlying issues. I know I've had to do that before when I've had models/textures disappear or show up as errors randomly and for no apparent reason.

Hope you can get it fixed!

Thank you. I will look into that, i have a pretty awesome PC, but come to think of it, i cannot remember installing the driver for my GPU.....hmmm. Thank you for your help, and congratz on making such a nice map. I especially like the waterfall in the reception area. :D

JGAm3r - Props moving, NPCs dying, etc. is independent of the map's design as far as lag is concerned. From testing I did on lower-end PCs, FPS drops are more likely to occur in the central area of the map (reactor room and upper circular lab), the sewer where the clear dynamic waterfalls are, and when the reactor traitor trap was activated. This is simply due to more resource-demanding rendering in those areas. FPS drops can also occur when certain doors are opened, causing more of the map to be rendered.

Most of the time, lag and FPS drop is directly linked with how powerful your PC is. If you have a powerful PC and are still experiencing lag, you may have underlying problems with your GPU, drivers, etc.

I hope this is somewhat insightful on what could be causing lag for you.
