Currently it still makes the combat rather stupid, and from my research and testing the 2 values I changed are the only ways to make FTL faster. I'm sure in future updates, Paradox might add in an option to make FTL faster, but until then we're stuck with 2.0 as it is.

My thoughts right now are that I might see how possible it is to mod 1.9 Stellaris to add all of the stuff that 2.0 brought, but while still keeping the triumverate of FTLs that I sorely miss (even if I always just played with one limited to the galaxy every time).

Well, I found that this messes up combat quite a bit, which is something I don't think can be worked around. I'll try dialing back the Ship_Speed_Scale to 0.5 and making the Hyperlane_Windup halved to 50 ticks.
