Glad you like it and thanks for the feedback. In big ships you can't keep everything within 10 blocks range ;). But I try to keep my ships "playable".

Beautiful ship, I love the alien design. Very functional too. Glad to see explosion spacing on components, and high mobility for a ship of this size.

The mood lighting is a little bit too dark for me, and everything is rather spread out. Had some trouble finding my way to the bridge. The signs helped though.

yes, most models need to be turned in some way to get them into the correct axis

Itharus, I used the EGS Tools to import a model of Serenity from Firefly. It spawned nose-down in the game - I'm told I needed to tweak the 3D model first - but it's another example of a rough 3D shell; see my Workshop submission. Also, a fellow The_Tactician has a standing offer to do that with any publically available 3D model for anyone who asks.

My biggest problem is getting curves right T_T basically counts out all B5 stuff for me lol. If you ever do any of those little Drazi corvettes lemme know :-D

No need to. My Babylon 5 Station was also built from the ground up. Such 3D models help to get the real relations much faster. But you have to replace really each block again by hand to shape the rough surface.

It is possible to import 3D models for 3D printers into Empyrion. But the results are very rough and need a lot of work afterwards.

What do you mean you built it out of a 3d hull that was imported?? How's that work?

oh yes.... I know that... shaping is easier than interior design...a 1:1 Defiant is still waiting to be finished...

i hear ya my ships take me at least 2 to 3 weeks minues the imports i do for other poeple atm im doing a pve/explorer USS Discovery, tho based after one of my blanks, i fully redid the blank and smoothed it, but im soooo not good in interior decoration so might take me a bit

oh, can take a while.... started with the Sharlin about 3 months ago..... and built some other stuff meanwhile...
