The company also values player experience so little that nothing is done to prevent misinformation about their own game from being recklessly spread in their game's Steam forum. Not only do they refuse to engage in the forum save when it's perceived to benefit them (public perception), they refuse to remove or even correct misinformation, which was a routine occurrence due to the complexity of the game. I spent years trying to discourage it myself but, not only did I receive no aid from the company or its moderators, I was frequently punished by a moderator when that effort created denials and baseless arguments and some anonymous twit clicked the Report button. Only one or two other players showed concern about the misinformation. A single prolific person was responsible for the vast majority of it, yet he was never discouraged or disciplined.
