Hi @all, you can fix this by simple editing of the MiningBuff*.cs files of the mod. You need to add "data." without the quotation marks in front of the effects, e.g. line 4 of MiningBuff.cs (first research) needs to look like this: void Awake () { data.extractionSpeed = 0.5f; }

I'd probably go with
1 - Mining efficency +50%
2 Resource Scan Range 20M
3 Mining +50% (total +100%)
4 Resource ID +10M
5 Mining +50% (150% total)

should remove the range and power issues from pvp but give a solid boost in mining and keeping the theme of the mod

Absolutely, you're right.
Didn't think about the PvP aspect as much to be honest as my way of enjoying the game has been with a couple of friends via direct play.

I tried to change the power consumption of the two mining lasers - failed at that. But that might be even worse than boosting all weapons equally.

Note that power efficiency will affect weapons, so PvP as well. Might be a bit OP, to say the least. :P
