This mod no longer works.

Objects do not receive power, making it so you cannot use the Lumber Mill, freezing progression.

If you unsub it corrupts the save.

It seems not to be working with the current version 1.1.4215. I started a new game and in order to get some boards I'd need energy. My people filled up the generator with wood but it just doesn't start working...
Without boards I can't continue the game, so sadly it's crap :-/

Search debris. Just put it on top of all your survivors and they will all "collect" and fuel the generators.

I tried to reinstall it, but that didn't work. They worked on it for like 2 more rounds and then it was forgotten again. I end up having plenty of quary activities running, that might affect it, but I cannot figure out what skill is used to get it to work

My frickin colonist keep forgetting to have the wood generator refilled and collect energy from it. It ruined a whole run for me. Any way to get it to work?

Umm, it really shouldn't be necessary to "gather" electricity. The whole point of electriciy is that it's transmitted and used directly.

It is a bid disconcerting to see electricity stored in the virtual barn next to the hay rather than in a battery but I understand that it's kind of consistant with the game mechanic.

Why is obsidian necessary as a component to a distillary?

Unless one of your survivors can get so angry from being hungry in a hospital bed that they get up and start beating the shit out of their fellow hospital mates despite being in a critical condition after being in a fight, then this is nowhere near rimworld.

@TBU : First get spirit sparks. Spirit Energy Manipulation research in the occult tree gives you access to the Spirit foundry. (Same graphic as arcane foundry). You can do a ritual there to create spirit sparks. The next research in the same tree should give you access to spirit alloy.

whenever i try to make a new game, the screen shows for a second and then fades to black, any tips? my computer has the specs required and the only other mods used are bigger colonies and the submods pack on this page, any ideas?

Will do. I think the farms stop working if the energy runs out and they can't be restarted afterwards. I built some more, and they keep producing, as they are supposed to.

Great mods, thanks a lot for that. I seem to have a slight issue with the automated farms. There are several ones built, energy is available and also several farmers, yet, they do not start the planting. I ordered it also directly at the farm option, the 50 energy were substracted, but still nothing. Do you have any advice how to handle this? Thanks in advance.

@Taliesyn : Glad to hear it is sorted. On the small sutters, it appears to be more related to number of colonists than anything else. I ended up deleting all objects in my base during testing, and still had it. *shrug*

I think it was another issue, actually. My computer was spiking to 100% disk usage at the same time, it turned out. I never was able to get to a root cause for that, but it ended after a few hours. I just checked now, and while there's still a slight stutter like you saw, it stopped doing the 1-second pause every 3 seconds nonsense.

@Taliesyn : Looking closely now, I do note stuttering on my save as well, but only slight. Can you perhaps provide your savegame somehow?
It should be located in "C:\Users\XXX\AppData\LocalLow\Suncrash\Judgment"

Also, the "output_log.txt" file in "...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Judgment\judgment_Data" could also help shed some light on if there are any errors popping up.

Hmm...since your 5/13 update, I have been getting a HUGE amount of stuttering. Basically, every 2-3 seconds, the game now pauses for up to a second.

Bugfix: I found an error with the automated farms, which meant they couldn't get reseeded. If you have this problem, then you will need to destroy and rebuild your automated farms before they are fixed.

Note: Mana has the same icon as energy, as I'm not good with art and haven't had time to mock a unique icon for it yet.

@Lucius Halthier : Mana is simply a crafting ingredient much like energy is. Think of it as magical eletricity, generating by having long conversations with books.
I use it in a few cases as a replacement for other resource costs (i.e. it is 'free', as it just takes time.) to make recipes 'cheaper'.

If you have colonists dedicated to rituals, then inbetween doing normal rituals they can generate mana (it counts as ritual skill).

@Lucius Halthier : It takes 80 copper, but gives you 360. So you gain 280, for 20 prima materia (which is cheaper in my mod). I made it cost 80 copper to make it so that you must scavenge a bit before you can make your own endless supply.
You'll have to save up copper for a bit by trading, and not craft things that cost copper.

Sidenote: You can get mana by having colonist do rituals at occult libraries. Cancel the research at the table, and you'll have the option to generate mana.
