Report a translation problem
If you've found the root cause of the problem, then it's fine.
Especially if someone has problems, they can go through the pages to see if they've had a similar problem. Unless the other place would create a new thread so it's a bit easier to find. Unfortunately, I didn't understand where.
For example, if a mod is supposed to allow other factions to take over cities after defeating enemies, such a mod would either have to have both the same effect for that location, or it would have to be adapted to each other so that they don't interfere with each other.
If a mod is supposed to improve the combat behavior of guards, such as not running too far after an enemy to avoid being caught in the player's traps, or running into dangerous animals alone, or standing around uselessly because the AI can't find a way to the player or other enemies because a player is standing on something with their characters.
This shouldn't affect attack positions; they only determine how many can attack at once. In melee combat, there are always several around the outside, even if you only have the original 1 Slot.
also no need to post it here as it has nothing to do with this mod.
it changes 1 thing in the FCS. that's it, 1 number. this mod would only conflict with other mods like it or that change the attack slots.
it's one of your settings or some other mod.
it will not cause any bugs.
try turning your peeps off passive.
If anything I would argue it makes the game harder for you early to mid game. Until you build up a capable squad that is able to fight well, and cohesively, YOU are the one getting ganged up on constantly. I remember when I first got Kang and a small squad of starving vagrants put him on the ground despite having mid 20s stats.
Also any boss or big enemy typically has a bunch of friends ex: bugmaster has a biome and building full of spiders, Catlon has something like 120 thraws waiting to rush you. So it's not like you just steamroll the game. I also recently watched a lvl 70 skeleton tech hunter solo a NH base raid squad of like 30 ppl, mostly paladins. and that was with it being 3 on 1 the entire time.
And depending on what mods you use that change the combat system, it might be useful to have more than x1, or even more than x2, depending on what mods you use together.
Some mods also add attack slots if they use a more advanced combat system than the original game.
Therefore it makes sense if there are several mods of it.
That said, if you’re planning to frequently fight using large squads of your own - i.e. groups that significantly outnumber most enemy parties - then it’s probably best not to increase the number of attack slots at all
The world of Kenshi thrives on a sense of vulnerability and the value of individual skill. When you're facing a powerful enemy, having just one attack slot allows quality to stand out over quantity. Increasing the number of slots dilutes that experience, turning even epic NPCs like Cat-Lon into mere fodder for a crowd. While this might be closer to realism, it goes against the role-playing design and balance of Kenshi’s world, where elite, well-known NPCs are meant to feel like legendary figures.
Depending on your playstyle, it can noticeably simplify the game - rather than make it harder.
So in a 1v3 with 1x attack slots, the 3 would attack one after the other giving the 1 a chance to block each attack separately
Whereas with 3x attack slots the 3 could all attack together, making the 1 have an extremely hard time blocking all strikes, if not outright impossible.
there is nothing i can do about it.
though sometimes importing can fix it.
Is x3 that tipping point, or will it be fine?
its how you make sure mods get added to your game, not all mods require this though.
you should talk to them.
