Ah well my template is based off of the humans, so colour your sprites the same as the humans.

@skittles well i used your base and i cant find the novakid species file when i extracted the pak

Assuming you have used the novakid as a base, then yes i would colour the sprites the same way as them.

@skittles i cant seem to figure out how to get the antennae working. would i just change the color of it to match the default color of the novakid's skin?

You can remove the description :P check your species file in starbound/species. Its near the top.

yeah i tried to make a sorta fullbright effect but i cant get into the player config thing so i cant make it glow like a novakid's skin

Sugestion: Solid colors become boring to the eye quickly, I'd sugest breaking up the outline a little, or add some mild shading. If your charactor is meant to be glowing, I'd advise a gradient coming outward from the middle of each major part. Anyway, good luck with it, keep it up!
