Sorry, I've retired from Civ modding. you'll have to fix it yourself.

Causes a crash when AI gets the free settler policy in the Liberty tree.
TheRomanPhoenix 25 okt, 2015 @ 16:02
Yeah, I just tested it and that seems to have been the problem. I haven't had any crashing problems since disabling, and russia has adopted another policy in liberty on turn 19.
TheRomanPhoenix 25 okt, 2015 @ 15:50
I'm having crashing issues as well in my scenario and I'm wondering if it has to do with the liberty tree. Every time, on turn 18, Russia does their turn, then civ Crashes. They're already going down the tree and I wonder if them adopting the policy that grants a settler is causing the crashes.

It would be fantastic to have the option to disable settlers only for the ai. Or disable ai altogether and only have barbarians.
DerigarsChairman 5 jul, 2015 @ 5:55
why not add a per civ option, for insitance in the korean scenario there is one civ that can settle cities, is there any way to add that or no.

The only other mod I was using at the time was In Game Editor.
I'm not sure though, I havent played in a while. Go ahead and disregard my earlier comment
Km'te 13 apr, 2015 @ 5:27
It very likely isnt
Encolpius  [skapare] 13 apr, 2015 @ 5:09
Are you sure it's this mod?
danielisamazing 10 apr, 2015 @ 21:43
getting a crash around ~20 from this mod in my scenario
Km'te 17 maj, 2014 @ 8:43
Thanks! this really helped me make my scenario better in which razing cities is disabled
Nevik 11 apr, 2014 @ 17:37
Even when I subscribe, the Mod does not download. Is there a link you can put up that I can download manually?
[SOTR] CK2 Roy 11 mar, 2014 @ 4:10
could you just play one city challenge?
Encolpius  [skapare] 10 mar, 2014 @ 11:45
The point of the mod is not to muck up scenarios. YOU SHOULDN'T BE USING IT WITH NON-SCENARIO GAMES. Isn't that what the description says? "Use with scenarios"?
Freeasabird🕊 10 mar, 2014 @ 3:53
Okay, im not sure if this was intended but, i started with only a warrior. i didn't have a settler, how am i so posed to play the game with only a warrior? and i assume the other nations did aswell so, whats the deal hear? aren't you so posed to have one and only one settler to start the game?
Matoo 9 mar, 2014 @ 3:46
Nice idea.
damnusername 20 okt, 2013 @ 20:12
@ amc, I think one city challenge only aplies to human players. It also means that cities can't be conquered, only raised
Amcrmcm 19 okt, 2013 @ 8:55
Couldn't you just use one city challenge?

Finally, I've been looking for a mod like this. Perfect for my Domination scenario.
fresh meat 30 mar, 2013 @ 1:05
@Robert: i just released my mod for exactly that. find "Ony City Civs" in the workshop.
Gogloplex 13 feb, 2013 @ 11:00
WAIT, I FOUND A WORK AROUND.

there is another mod called "The Speedy Settler Mod" ( http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=96695370 ) that replaces the starting settler with a new settler that can travel ten spaces pur turn. If you use that mod with this mod every player (including City States) will still start with a settler but will not be able to train one themselves.
Gogloplex 13 feb, 2013 @ 10:44
This works great but is it possible to make it so settlers simply can't be trained, earned through the liberty policy, or gifted from ancient ruins but every player/ai still starts with a settler at the beginning of the game?

I understand the intended use of this mod but it'd be great to also be able to use it in conjunction with IGE and No City Razing to create new games where you manually plop every city down at the beginning and the only way to expand is through conquest. You can do that now with the way it is, but the problem is that since the City States ONLY start with a settler they're automatically wiped out at the beginning of the game.
Shade665 (ice) 12 feb, 2013 @ 2:04
one city challange still lets the AI build settlers unfortionately, i see what woofle is saying, it be neat,
this is still great idea though, imma try it out
Saxon Spooner 8 feb, 2013 @ 5:27
im going to us this in Game of Thrones and Faerun Scenarios
Snerk 7 feb, 2013 @ 16:42
Good mod for many scenarios.
Encolpius  [skapare] 7 feb, 2013 @ 13:16
Yes. When you enable this mod, it plays as if there is no such thing as a settler. When I release my feudal Japan mod, you'll see what Disable Settlers is for.
Vector Lord 7 feb, 2013 @ 5:31
It´s the liberty's settler and the option to buy it by gold disabled too?
waffle 5 feb, 2013 @ 13:55
That's okay, thanks anyway. Hopefuly one day you will figure it out!
Encolpius  [skapare] 5 feb, 2013 @ 12:03
This mod is for scenarios. It's to stop people founding New York in the middle of Japan. Sorry if I'm being rude. It's not because I can't be bothered. It's because I don't know how to do what you asked.
waffle 5 feb, 2013 @ 10:13
I tried to activate this in a normal single player game so the other AI players couldn't use settlers. It crashed my game like every 5 minutes (tried about 4 times) and I still had the option to create settlers when I checked soo.... Will you make it possible for sp games and not just scenerious anytime soon?
SolGuardian 3 feb, 2013 @ 8:59
Thank You so much
Encolpius  [skapare] 3 feb, 2013 @ 4:40
*sighs* You're not meant to use it for new games. Look above: "For use with scenarios". Scenarios where people already have cities and don't need settlers. It's to stop New York appearing in the middle of Japan.

One-city challenge is for new games only, this is different.
santron 2 feb, 2013 @ 18:03
I just activated this and started a new game. I had no settler.
chud 2 feb, 2013 @ 17:06
but one city challenge is for human players and not the AI
Dune Manta 2 feb, 2013 @ 10:58
Or you could just turn on one city challenge?
