Updated for 1.3!

1.3 update? It works, except you can't change the required tech and machining is way too harsh in my opinion.

I'd love to see this mod expand to encompass all the workgiver types.

OK, we're good now. Was just a conflict on my end. Let me know if there's any issues with the mod.

Oops, seems like there's an issue with the just-uploaded version. I'll fix it ASAP.

Would love to have this for v1.0 so i can get my YouTube series started...
Intend to play as tribals...
The fact i can lock mining behind a research is PERFECT!
Will lock it behind stone cutting as it seems more fitting (sure it's an easy research, but then again, whacking a tool on some rock is no more difficult then hitting the head of your friend with a bitch slap.
Now, knowing where to hit and mine seems to be a bi more fitting that it's locked behind "Stone cutting" and with a mod that adds a "tribal faction" that has NO Research researched from the start will make this mod fitting!

TL;DR Please update so i an use for a slow long Youtube Series...

Any chance for Beta 19? c:

Sorry for being a bit slow on the uptake with this but I think your refering to the mod that adds items that just provide bonus's to the workspeed of specifc tasks. I think something of that nature is XML only while what I was asking about would be more along the lines of the operation bill requiering medicine for precedures such as installing peg legs or bionics.
Sentient_Worm 20 Dec, 2017 @ 6:56pm
ok
delvr  [author] 20 Dec, 2017 @ 3:19pm
@Sentient_Worm: that's a bit more advanced than what I had in mind for this mod, but I'll consider it. I think I saw another mod implementing equipment to enhance mining and other tasks, I'll take a look at how they're doing it.
Sentient_Worm 13 Dec, 2017 @ 6:06pm
Whould it be possible to requier specific equipment instead of tech?

interesting mod!

Hi Keeper! This prevents mining as a whole. I'll consider resource-specific restrictions for a future version, although I feel like those would be better implemented in a smelting/refining-themed mod (so you'd be able to mine iron ore, say, but not able to smelt and alloy it into steel until an appropriate tech is researched).
Keeper 11 Dec, 2017 @ 12:21am
So does this prevent mining as a whole or mining specific resources? Can't mine steel until steel mining is researched as an example.
