Well, I seem to be having the same issue as someone below... (Where the common infected are all glowing ERRORs.)
I've uninstalled all mods, as well as even resorting to completely reinstalling Left 4 Dead 2.
I've got no idea why this is happening, unless somehow the required gnome model doesn't exist on my computer.
(But my GOSH I want this mod to work!)

Disable other common infected mods, only enable one at a time. Also, it won't work during multiplayer.
