Skye Storme is just starting a new play through with a number of your fine mods, so i would expect some increased traffic :)
BlueWolf 7 May, 2018 @ 12:28pm
Awesome mod! Great starter train that adds flavor to the early game.
Stormlover_51 16 Apr, 2018 @ 4:26pm
This handsome little devil is quick on the flats, a great starter loco for passengers. (I use your Baldwin when more traction is required.)
Judith 2 Apr, 2018 @ 8:16am
just as nice as the Baldwin 0-6-0 you have done thx:steamhappy:
Stormlover_51 1 Apr, 2018 @ 6:47pm
Excellent! Beautiful (your picture doesn't do it justice) and realitsticallly functional - thank you!

@modelcitizen | Really? That's great! Looking forward to seeing more steam locomotives. Well, I meant the whole steam era actually. Would be nice to see some Northern, Berkshire, Pacific type locomotives, especially based from the United States.

Regarding the Baldwin 0-6-0 tender, I'm excited to see it when it is released!

Cheers,

@ Expression - Thanks and yes, I am planning on making more steam locomotives (if by locomotives you mean early steam that is available when you start an 1850 game). I've taken a bit of a break from contect creation at the moment, but when I come back, I've got a custom built tender for the Baldwin 0-6-0 to finish.
Gregory_TheGamer 6 Mar, 2018 @ 8:20am
Hey there,

I really like your mods, all of them actually. I have a question out of interest, are you planning on more steam locomotives for this game?
Judith 21 Feb, 2018 @ 8:50pm
so beautiful!!!!! thx
modelcitizen  [author] 29 Dec, 2017 @ 6:42pm
@A Rather Jolly Brakeman - You're talking about the "grasshopper" locomotive? I'm hoping that TpF2 will have an 1830 start date. I also would love to see this locomotive in the game.

@M4 - Working on a custom Baldwin tender for the 0-6-0 now. Slowly getting there.
Steve Emfore 29 Dec, 2017 @ 9:25am
Would it be possible to have the tender released as a standalone wagon? It has the right size and scale to be run behind the 0-6-0 that lacks one.
DPT Wanderer 29 Dec, 2017 @ 7:35am
if i may ask have you thought about making the B&O RR atlantic ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlantic_(locomotive) it is however even older than this locomotive but some did survive as shop switchers the design apprently operated from (1832 to at least the 1890s) its intirely up to you if you decide to make this at one point or another it is more or less suggestion
modelcitizen  [author] 8 Dec, 2017 @ 6:29am
@kyleachesney - I don't want to speak out of turn, but I've heard there may be a F-unit in the works. An F3 is the rumor. Let's hope!
Railgunner2160 7 Dec, 2017 @ 7:18pm
Thank you!! Finally something other than that baldwin to pull my starter trains! An excellent and really detailed model!!
Avern 5 Dec, 2017 @ 3:15pm
could you possibly make an EMD f7 ABBA
modelcitizen  [author] 3 Dec, 2017 @ 3:26pm
@Pure coconut - Yes sir, this is my first locomotive.

@YouBlewIt - I appreciate the coaling tower diagram. I have put quite a bit of thought into making a coaling tower, it's just one of those things I haven't gotten around to yet. These pics will come in very handy though when that time comes. Thanks.
Thad 2 Dec, 2017 @ 8:35am
Hey modelcitizen,

I really enjoy your mods, especially the ones involving trackside railway structures. Since you've already made water towers and a sand house, have you thought about making a coaling tower?
Coaling towers were very common in large yards and terminals through the beginning of steam to the end in 1960. The first ones were wooden, and most lasted up until 1950. Around the 1940s and 1950s, steel coaling towers were built as well.

Here's a diagram of a wooden coaling tower: http://www.trainweb.org/s-trains/davis/coal.gif
Here's a photo of a steel coaling tower behind a locomotive: https://i.pinimg.com/736x/fe/e1/3c/fee13c52179d3954e602cb87ac783b84--railroad-photography-pennsylvania-railroad.jpg

A coaling tower would be an excellent addition to the game and to your already excellent collection of mods, giving the game more of an authentic feel to it. :steamhappy:

Yay. I crave American steam! Then again, I crave more British steam trains too! Slowly but surely I'm seeing more appear on here :)

Fantastic work btw, this is majestic!

NICE! A wonderful addition to the evolution of American steam locomotives! She'll fit in perfectly between the Norris 0-6-0 and the General 4-4-0

"modelcitizen", I've added this mod to my "AMERICAN Transport Fever mod Collection" and broadcast this to my friends. Thanks for the excellent mod that really expands our choices for 1850s railroading! Great Job!
Tall_Paul 25 Nov, 2017 @ 2:47am
Wow! What a nice looking locomotive it turned out to be. Great Job! This will really help the 1850's era railroad games.
