It doesn't appear that the production bonuses are actually working, unless it's failing to show up in the UI. Not seeing any 25% production bonus from either civ/leader ability.

Regardless of which Civ I play, my units have this ability listed in the tooltip: LOC_ABILITY_CVS_AKKAD_UU_EXTENDED_DESCRIPTION. Should I create a bug report?

The Config is for both, the table "links" together the Civ, Leader, and Uniques.

Updating the mod I'm not rly happy with wouldn't be worth the effort

The config file for the civ or the leader?(I can only see a file with config in the name for the leader) Where in the file should we add it and it what form? This isn't easy for people who aren't familiar with lua programming or whatever it is you need. Can't you do it yourself if it's so simple?

like the below comment said, adding the Expansion2 Domain to the Config file, along with any other Domains that recent DLC might have added, will allow it to show on the selection screen. Idk if there's anything else that has to be done.

Just got around to playing as Sargon, and it was a truly fantastic experience. The art, the gameplay, the creativity in making the particular path of the game unique -- just superb. Thanks, guys!

Admittedly not much to go on, but when playing as Akkad and exiting the game - either to Restart, to Main Menu, or to Desktop - game will ctd with notification to send error report to FXS. It doesn't appear to affect gameplay, however, and saves seem to load fine.

I always thought international trade was a bit underwhelming, but that's a good point about juggling who you're killing and who you're trading with. It is more nuanced than just steamrolling everybody and focusing only on domestic trade. Anyway, thanks for such a quick reply, and really, thanks for your awesome mods. A few little issues that I'm having pales in comparison to the tremendous work and awesome job you, SeelingCat, SailorCat, and ChimpanG have done. So thank you!

It's meant to still count if you eliminate them, but Firaxis might have done something stupid with their code so I guess that needs to be tested now...

The international trade focus was meant to mirror irl, where international trade was a very important feature, but was also meant to encourage you to create roads to your enemy for conquest later. It also brings more thought into the equation, where you're juggling people you're killing and people you haven't killed yet. It's also worth noting that I initially wanted the same to be applied for Cities that you've conquered, but gamesux so we've got the production splitting thing instead.

Got it. Thanks for the tip. Domestic does exist, so I just included both international and domestic in order to cover all trade routes. I typically favor domestic trade routes, especially for the early game to grow my cities, which is why I wanted to make this change. Since Akkad is supposed to flourish early on I figured it would be better to have domestic trade boosted. It doesn't really make sense to have international trade if Akkad is supposed to be conquering everybody.

I am wondering... do conquered cities still count as 'conquered' if you entirely destroy a civilization? I am not getting the +1 culture for every conquered city, and I just killed Russia and took all three of their cities.

No, because that Modifier wouldn't exist. If it existed at all it'd be _DOMESTIC, but I've got a feeling it doesn't tbh. Worth a try regardless I guess.

I have a question. If I wanted to change the trade bonus to apply to all trade routes, not just international ones, would I open Akkad_UA.sql and alter "EFFECT_ADJUST_CITY_TRADE_ROUTE_YIELD_PER_DESTINATION_STRATEGIC_RESOURCE_FOR_INTERNATIONAL" and just cut out the international part?

@pjzoulias the Culture is given through Lua and as such does not show on the CityView, instead it should appear as floating text above the City plots. The description is not incorrect; that +1.4 Culture from Population is actually the +1.4 Culture that Pop inherently yields. Although floating text is admittedly less user friendly in VI compared to V, the practice of using it to display Lua granted yields is hardly new and hardly unique to me.
