thank you Gloomshine :) I have always found gelling and jumping one of the most fun things to do in Portal, so I had to have a go at making a map that uses them!

its there to use if you wish...i guess there are a couple of ways to use the gel, but on maps like this there always will be.

revised...thanks for your comments, although now rather drunk, i have attempted one of your maps but the spinning arround looking for portable surfaces made the real world spin, so i opted to go for the easier portable surface removal in this chamber...i will get back to yours once i sober up.

I did not use the speed gel.
to get to the area where the Conversion Gel button is.
I placed a portal facing it, then launched from faithplate, through 2nd portal.
I used everything else exept of course, the franken cubes.
glad you put sphere dropper on auto respawn :)

Ta for the feed back, i have re-played it with "no using gels" rule in mind and indeed it is possible :( i will keep looking at this map until i can find a nice elegent solution to this "shortcut".

Jade again; I really liked the layout of this chamber, and the placement of all the lighting. I did not use any gels, just cube, ball and portals. Portal surfaces are key. The way I approach a puzzle is that I see what is needed to open the door and do only what is needed to do it/with portals. If there are other things that might assist me like gels/faith plates, etc. I do not use them if I can do it with portals only. Nice touch with the frankens too, I love those guys. Thanks for your work.
