Is this ever going to get updated?
KeoniPhoenix 10 Nov, 2023 @ 6:06pm
I have been wanting to implement factions for SuperStates Mod for a few years now so I might take a look at what was done and see what I could adapt for SuperStates Mod.

It's rather tough to keep all the mods working with the constant updates and micro-dlcs from Paradox. I probably won't start modding again until after Eu4 is in its final stable state, like Crusader Kings 2 is now. So, in other words, probably not until after they drop EU5.

Sad to see it's a dead mod

Thank you!

Something I've always wanted to add to SuperStates Mod. Amazing.
Bowzally 8 Oct, 2019 @ 11:18am
is it compatible with extended timeline ?
exorap209 12 Sep, 2019 @ 2:23pm
I see, thank you

@exorap209
I don't know but generally assume that total overhaul mods will not be.
exorap209 12 Sep, 2019 @ 1:56pm
Is this mod compatible with Common Universalis?
reddbane  [author] 4 Sep, 2019 @ 3:19pm
Major Update!
Factions have been completely re-balanced and now Parliament debates have major influence on individual factions.
reddbane  [author] 6 Aug, 2019 @ 2:26pm
@Kiwi712
I might require some of the expansions. When I work it is with all of them enabled. However, if you are using any other mods that alter the government and/or government reform files then their will likely be a conflict, as the factions are enabled/disabled by government reform type.
Kiwi712 6 Aug, 2019 @ 3:57am
I have no clue how to get this working. I may be stupid but it looks like a really cool mod for a US play through.
Kiwi712 3 Aug, 2019 @ 1:47am
I can't seem to get this mod to work. Does it require any DLC? Because it isn't saying it does. I enable it but it just doesn't make any changes to the game.
scurtis94 2 Apr, 2019 @ 9:33pm
oh- nevermind. It seems to work fine. While it did not work on loading up an old save, I just started a new game, cc'd the parliment reform, and it worked fine. I guess that the mod does not work on save games where it was not running from the start (probably goes for CK2 converter saves as well)

I don't know.

Didn't see it asked already, is this compatible with extended timeline mode ? Thanks
scurtis94 2 Apr, 2019 @ 6:52am
So I'm guessing this doesn't work with governments expanded?
scurtis94 24 Mar, 2019 @ 9:02pm
never mind, read more closely, derp :P thanks for the mod! This will make my Italy game much more fun with the senate.
scurtis94 24 Mar, 2019 @ 9:00pm
so if I get a parliment for any nation, say France for example, does this mod work, or only for constitutional republics and England?
Argakyan 23 Feb, 2019 @ 4:54am
The Radicals as a loose grouping weren't a thing until around the mid-18th century. If possible I'd do dynamic parties.
reddbane  [author] 9 Feb, 2019 @ 3:37pm
@Chillwind
A Converted CK2 save is technically a mod, a mod which, depending on how your CK2 game ended, will override a good deal of the game vanilla files as well as possibly overriding certain files that are also altered by a mod. My guess is that your converted save overrode a number of the government and estate files, thus making it incompatible with this mod.
Chillwind 9 Feb, 2019 @ 3:03pm
Hello, I downloaded this mod so I could run it on my Roman Empire converted save from CK2 but it appears that even though I have it active, my estates are in-tact and I don't have any of your factions. Is there something I need to do to make it apply to my country? I am a Constitutional Republic.
reddbane  [author] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 9:58am
@k.burda90
Click the Subscribe button and it will appear in your EU4 launcher, under mods. Then click on the mod in the Launcher so it has a green check mark next to it.
k.burda90 21 Jan, 2019 @ 7:41pm
I know i sound foolish but how do you use this mod it seems interesting
reddbane  [author] 15 Jan, 2019 @ 6:25pm
@Lusitani Kaiser Johan
Busy at the moment, though not a bad idea. It would more likely when I come back to expand the mod to a more robust version, though right now it's not at the top of my list, as there are some more complicated mod work I have scheduled.
OkapiJohn 15 Jan, 2019 @ 4:15am
Excelent Mod! I love it. I would suggest to make more dynamic! Events or even each edict you pass on the parliment influences each faction. Like passing an army edict will favor the lords and weaken the power of the commons for example!
reddbane  [author] 13 Jan, 2019 @ 1:41pm
Updated.
reddbane  [author] 6 Dec, 2018 @ 5:08pm
Big announcement! I've updated the mod to account for the government reform system. Updated to 1.27. Expect another update shortly after Golden Century drops.
Argakyan 25 Nov, 2018 @ 11:25am
Bröther, may I have söme factiöns?

Its going to take some time, major Government changes to account for.

How did you get the USA so blue on the map? what mod?
truelove101992 24 May, 2018 @ 8:14pm

They have a faction system too and have two different constitutional monarchies. I'm trying to add your factions to the second one (this one being a Constitutional Parlimentary Monarchy, rather than the former Constitutional Monarchy), but can't figure out how to add it into ET's own factios. I'd do it myself, but modding is like learning a dead language that few can teach, lol.
reddbane  [author] 24 May, 2018 @ 7:32pm
@truelove101992
I generally don't make ET mods, as I'm not familar with the system.
truelove101992 24 May, 2018 @ 7:30pm
Could you make a version of this for ET?

I'm really not that knowledgeable about polish history to properly represent the government of the Commonwealth.

It is best to post your ideas in the "Faction Balance Suggestion" thread, as they will be for me to keep track of.
As a general notification, I do not at the moment possess a computer which can run EUIV, so until repairs are made I can't update any of my mods.
reddbane  [author] 29 Jan, 2018 @ 5:10pm
Update:
Added two factions for the unique American Governments: Democratic-Republicans and Federalists.
Screenshots and Information to be added soon.
