Ah, you need to download SEToolBox dude- it lets you change armour from light to heavy ( or vicerversa ) with just a couple mouse clicks- pretty easy to use too.

I think the problem with my ship is that it weighs 840,000,000 kgs at lest so I'm going to replace all the heavy armor blocks with light, and that will take days :( for you see. http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1125698696

WashableChunk1 Keen has two options, one is to stop weekly updates and focus more on engine repairs or option 2 is to make the game on a more stable physics engine. I am still learning how C# works but that is the only two options that they have left.

Thx hopfully the Devs will make it easyer to process ships with details and curves in the future ,because I can't even continue building that project i spent 1.5 months in with the amount of curves it has. Hope i didn't waste my time trying to build the Black Gate.

@WashableChunk1- the warning is related to physics shapes rather than block-count specifically, but larger ships will trigger that warning more easily as a rule- ships with lots detail ( pointy bits and curves ) really rack up the physics shapes far quicker than boxy looking ships.

I got a question, do you get a warning message from space engineers when you go over a sertain number of blocks beacause when I tryed to make a ship that was over 280,000 blocks it gave me this message. screenshot ----) http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1186426336

suiciedeneil is not wrong. SE is basicly a high quality interactible proformance test
By the way awesome creation
SuicideNeil  [author] 19 Sep, 2017 @ 6:00pm
Laptop? There's your issue; SE is basically the modern equivalent of Crysis- you need a half decent gaming PC or top end gaming laptop to play this game with half decent graphics settings- it eats CPUS and RAM for breakfast...
shadowallen 19 Sep, 2017 @ 11:24am
But Good work. However you did it. Bravo. Loks very good
shadowallen 19 Sep, 2017 @ 11:24am
Ok....... HOW did this NOT burn out your graphic chip? I can't even load a solar system with 2 planets, 30 minor mods and past a ship into that before my laptop says good night. HOW??????
SuicideNeil  [author] 19 Sep, 2017 @ 6:04am
Mainly just for fun- the game engine will never handle such large structures, SE needs a more modern one to be truly 'useful' like that. Realistically, the Battle Crusier I built is about as large as you will want to build or use in any Survival or Creative setting ( ~600m long ).
Carbondatez 19 Sep, 2017 @ 4:09am
Dont get me wrong, same applies all of those cool star trek ships that are very massive aswell. Just trying to figure out the "point" since the game cant handle these, or is it just fun? =)
Carbondatez 19 Sep, 2017 @ 4:05am
and what happens when you add 1 more ship =D? These creations are awesome and since you make homeworld 2 replicas, they're the best ;) (!) but cant really play with these unless you use just 1 ship and enjoy that 30fps =D. Are these meant to be more like models or hoping that someday space engineers can handle massive ships like this in the future? i got I7-6700K overclocked, GTX980 ja 16gb RAM, normal FPS in range 90-120 in multiplayer and pretty much 120fps when ship is under 10.000 blocks
SuicideNeil  [author] 19 Sep, 2017 @ 3:47am
@Carpaazi- well, I have an i7 3770k, 980Ti & 16GB ram, and I was getting 95% CPU, ~50% GPU and 60-70% ram usage, with ~30fps and 1.0 sim speed. A modest gaming PC should be fine, but those guys trying to play SE with an old workstation pc or non-gaming laptop are not gonna have the best experience...
Carbondatez 18 Sep, 2017 @ 9:05pm
Incredible job! Im a huge fan of homeworld series and all your ships are just plain amazing. Can anyone actually play with these without loosing every single FPS and everything working fine? =D

holllleeeeeeee crap thats huge
