Wait, you mean my version is working? Or what? :P I'm unsure since I haven't loaded this game in ages. xD

Just letting you know this has been fixed now:
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3565760953

you can tell it's working otherwise the max would be 999,999,999. JUST Below the million.

Well, no one reported it when I was still modding this game. I dunno if or when I'll ever even bother to try and check it to possibly update. I quit this game a long long time ago when the community leader tried to give porn to children and the company didn't care.

This mod file has same value as 32bit version...
Need update

@Exe Boss: the 34-bit version of the game does not support values higher than 2 147 483 947 (2³¹-1) , that is because 32-bit has a value limit. I recommend changing your launcher options to always launch the 64-bit client instead, which can be found by going to "properties" of your starbound tab, then navigate to "demos" and you'll see below it a line to put in launch options.

I dunno then, 32 bit currency -should- be enough, I did test this when I made it and I did get over 32 bit before, maybe an update changed something to prevent anything from going over a 32 bit integer even in mods.
ExE Boss 4 Jul, 2019 @ 2:46pm
I also always use the 64 bit client.
Vas  [author] 2 Jul, 2019 @ 10:35pm
I used the 64 bit client when I tested it, and it seemed to work. Perhaps it can't be done with the 32 bit client?
ExE Boss 2 Jul, 2019 @ 6:29pm
Turns out that the game doesn't support values higher than 2 147 483 647 ( 2³¹‑1 ) even with this installed.

This might be because the game probably uses a 32 bit integer for the pixel count.

how about an 1024 bit version?
Vas  [author] 17 May, 2019 @ 8:17pm
Yea, I dunno. I haven't played Starbound in ages though. Not likely to ever again, they banned me from their discords because the leader is a control freak who gave porn to kids and I asked her not to and she banned me then banned me from the other one when I brought it up in the Chucklefish discord. Chucklefish basically hired a moron as their discord community leader. She gets free discord premium features for as long as she maintains that discord.

originally id installed the 32bit, then uninstalled in favour of 64bit.
32bit effects persisted, so i did a fresh install
but that hasnt changed anything.
no idea where the issue's coming from
Vas  [author] 16 May, 2019 @ 9:30pm
Are you using both mods at once? If so, that would be why.
Burgerjoe 16 May, 2019 @ 5:17pm
im only getting 32bit values. doesnt go upto 64bit
The Roach 19 May, 2018 @ 4:58pm
whats the highest bit number ever used?
Vas  [author] 5 Mar, 2018 @ 6:20am
Its not like you really need to spawn that much. The mod works, I made it simply because someone suggested that I make a 64bit currency value, even though no one would ever realistically use it in legitimate ways. 32bit should suffice for everyone.
_EXP_ 5 Mar, 2018 @ 5:18am
Ow
Oh this is bad!
Vas  [author] 4 Mar, 2018 @ 5:50am
Pretty sure thats hard coded.
_EXP_ 4 Mar, 2018 @ 4:06am
@vas make a 32,64 or 128bit spawn amount
ZX-DX 14 Dec, 2017 @ 8:24am
@vas but you can spanw like 100 tings that cost 1000 pix and then sell them
Vas  [author] 12 Sep, 2017 @ 4:54pm
It can't, the game uses a signed 24 bit max for spawn amount.
GryffintheBaron 12 Sep, 2017 @ 4:11pm
@Vas you could just type in /spawnitem money 9,223,327,036,854,775,807. if it can
Lurmey 8 Sep, 2017 @ 7:56pm
I suppose, I guess I was thinking too seriously when I wrote that comment. :P
Vas  [author] 8 Sep, 2017 @ 12:34am
for fun, or to risk very bad money loss on death, who knows
Lurmey 7 Sep, 2017 @ 11:13pm
Why..? We have the pixel compressor, why would anyone need to be holding so much money at one time? xD
Vas  [author] 5 Sep, 2017 @ 11:55pm
Yes, it will.
Rathlon Tobias Riverwind 5 Sep, 2017 @ 11:47pm
I'm wondering if it'll show that ammount if we get over the pixel cap[normal]?
Vas  [author] 5 Sep, 2017 @ 11:28pm
Yes, you'll just loose anything above the max currency your game allows the next time you earn currency.
Rupees 5 Sep, 2017 @ 10:55pm
is it safe to uninstall
HL2.exe 5 Sep, 2017 @ 12:12am
dope
Rathlon Tobias Riverwind 4 Sep, 2017 @ 5:10pm
So basicly the max we can have for money is.
nine quintillion two hundred twenty three quadrillion three hundred seventy two trillion thirty six billion eight hundred fifty four million seven hundred seventy five thousand eight hundred seven.
If I read the number right.
