i think there is a trap situation in the room behind the laser wall in the first section. if you go there first without the cube there is no way out. i think i found an exploit maybe, you can just hit a portal under the little fizzler in the last area. than you can just bring the cube that way

Very nice run. You are real good at throwing those cubes around. I can't seem to get the hang of it. Good job.

Incredible good map, my run here http://youtu.be/oybx0Sjd6ZM

Nice. Thanks for playing and for the demo. I have looked at the trap mentioned and have not completely figured it out yet. Will continue.

Here is a demo of my solution: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dqu1tg9w5o30jdz/neilsgarage.dem I believe I used the same method as The MAD Fool for the last section. If you follow my last section and pretend I didn't push both buttons, I think I'd be trapped in the area with the exit door.

I didn't use the funnel in the last room or one of the lasers in the first room.

Sure. The button you use a franken cube to open-- the one to the left as you enter. The laser relay above that. I double checked and yes that does open the door-- I missed that. However, if you stand by that, you can use a regular/reflector cube to press the button. Also, I think you can just jump down and press it. All you have to do to get on top of it is portal and jump. As for getting stuck, once you are in the 2nd main room, just portal above the fizzler and go down to the section that is has the exit. Without any cube, I cannot find a way out-- maybe I am missing something? Hope this helps.

I appreciate the advice but I don't understand. Not sure which button/relay you mean. The relay above the button which is behind the laser field is necessary to open the door to the next room. Also, I tried to get stuck in the final room and couldn't. Could you help me out there? Thanks for testing and leaving your comments.

I would recommend adding some glass above the wall button. (You may have to have it go across to the nearby wall, but I don't think it will hurt anything.) I was able to hit it from above with a cube by standing on top by the relay near it. Also, that relay seams not to do anything. Nice use of franken cube :) Also, I got stuck in the last section by the exit. I had to portal bump to get out. Overall a nice puzzle.

Alright, I made a demo [dl.dropbox.com] again. I used a different solution for the last part, because I could. I also solved it entirely without the franken cube. Sorry to be breaking your maps ;-)

Also, flip the one-square fizzler in the last room. I mean that you put the fizzler on the opposite wall in the editor, which will make the antline not arc over it, but keep the fizzler in the exact same space.

I only found one of the minor edits, which is the added fizzler in the left room. Now I had to use the franken cube, but other than that, my solution did not change at all.

Also, as I said before, please remove the lower of these two antlines. Also, I recommend placing the laser of the left room on the same or opposite wall as the funnel, for example under either observation room window. This will unentangle the antlines of the laser catcher.

I made two minor edits. I would very much appreciate it if you could make another run and give me any further insights you have to make this a better map. Thank You.

Oh, and I recommend to remove the antline going from the top laser relay to the wall panel on the other side. The one antline leading to the glass panel is enough for the player to get what's happening. A second one just confuses.

Very nice. You seem to have a knack for spotting shortcuts.

This fun because of a couple moments. But I think there is still some unnecessary parts in there. Watch my demo [dl.dropbox.com] for further details.

here it is, my new map, as promised.
it has turrets, puzzles, but is more dangerous than most of my maps.
so please use F5-quick save. especialy from cage to the very end.
I suggest you read the description as well.
simple turret problem 11-wait for it...

I'm glad you came back too. Thanks my friend.

good map.
your antlines were very helpfull on this type of map.
I tried it before & found to difficult.
as did not see what did what & what I needed to do & in what order.
due to diferent areas being interactive to some degree.
(but I went back & forth, checking out your antlines, this time)
I did not realise the cube was in the glass, un-retrievable, the 1st time.
thought for a bit I was a cube short, in final chamber.
glad I came back, thumbs up again :)

Major editing of final chamber after my friend 2Broke tore me to shreds in there. Hours of playing and editing later it looks like a new chamber. Thanks 2Broke.

This was a great test. It was a bit challenging, but not too difficult to solve. I really enjoyed solving it! Thanks!
