Months late response @Babia, but if you're still into Kenshi and haven't done it already, sure, feel free to pick up where I left off, just link to the original.
Babia 28. nov. 2021 kl. 14:22
would you be ok with someone patching this mod?
Bussy Butcher  [ophavsmand] 14. sep. 2019 kl. 15:32
I apologize to anyone now and in advance for incompatibility issues. Frankly I haven't touched this mod in forever, and I've been really out of touch with modding in general. I doubt a day will come I can sit myself down and figure out how to make it compatible with RW or nail the issue down if that isn't it. Sorry. :( I'm glad that it entertained at least a handful of you for the time it did work though.
>HarkH< 14. sep. 2019 kl. 7:37
well the problem with Dust King and Black Dragon still remain, The squads doesnt spawn when you put Shun Exiles et Reactive World Together. (They do spawn with RW only active, havent tryed with Shun Exiles) So it's a compatibility problem. Dont know how they interfere with each other but the world state seems messed up. Well you may try to make this mod Stand Alone but i guess it's not the case anymore as it have compatibility problem. I love this mod but for now in my point of view RW is more important to me for game immersion and world state dynamic than a new town/faction that fill and empty barren land.

Anyone know if this happens to still work?
Mr.Taco 17. aug. 2018 kl. 20:13
does this have campaigns yet? or is that being worked on in the near future? im dying to know..literally! haha Xd
Bussy Butcher  [ophavsmand] 14. juli 2018 kl. 2:22
Mod has been updated. Regarding the whole Dust King not spawning, there is nothing different in this mod that should modify him, so that must be a different mod.

Oh if your hard drive died - in case you don't already know - you can just get it from
\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\233860\1120416653\

That might save you the trouble of redoing everything.
Mr.Taco 14. maj 2018 kl. 20:20
ty for the quick reply! I rated positive just now in hopes this mod gets more attention even though as you said have to revisit it. Ty inflectus and have a good day!
Bussy Butcher  [ophavsmand] 14. maj 2018 kl. 20:15
My old hard drive died, which had all the mod content, but I actually plan on revisiting it and ironing out the bugs people have reported and possibly expand on the faction as a whole. :) @psanhueza Feel free to join the Kenshi Discord server linked in the description where I'll post any future updates or releases, as well as where other popular modders publish and post updates for their work.

i like this idea. is this mod up to date since the last post in 2017? and have you anded hostile/friendly campaigns to help/attack you when you are attacked by someone?
catanbros 8. nov. 2017 kl. 11:10
theres a problem with this mod, When installed, Both the dust king tower and black ninja tower npcs dissapear. I like this mod but not worth the lost of enem y npcs with notorious bounties.

I actually have no idea how to safely merge mods with level edits so I wouldnt be adding yours into the overhaul. Would you mind if I include it as a required file though and make a couple of alterations (mostly just adding my shopkeeper and AI changes to your town, other than that I like the mod on its own, really nice).
Bussy Butcher  [ophavsmand] 1. sep. 2017 kl. 10:14
Personally I would prefer that my mod remained uninvolved with the project, as I want it to be its own standalone thing. Sorry, but thanks for the consideration! @Transflux
D.Cub3d 1. sep. 2017 kl. 9:16
hello, I'm working on a sort of mega overhaul that includes a fair bit of content created by the community merged, I was wondering if you would be cool with me using your work? I would be giving credit to all authors who created content for the overhaul :)

@SpankinScrubs
Bussy Butcher  [ophavsmand] 31. aug. 2017 kl. 12:16
You'll need to import your current save game to see this mod in it (since it adds a new town to the map). Importing, if you're unfamiliar with it, is basically loading a save game, except that it will reset the world (but not your research, buildings, squad, or, last I checked, relations) so that new content from updates or mods can spawn.
SpankinScrubs 31. aug. 2017 kl. 11:41
Sorry if this was already answered, but can I add this to a game that's in progress or will I have to start a new game?
Haleswitch 30. aug. 2017 kl. 23:49
Thanks Inflectus! I found the Lost City!
Mango 29. aug. 2017 kl. 15:07
Thanks! Time to get sneaky~
Bussy Butcher  [ophavsmand] 29. aug. 2017 kl. 15:05
Yep! The one and only.
Mango 29. aug. 2017 kl. 14:53
Should I assume it's the same slave farm south-ish of Clownsteady? :o
Bussy Butcher  [ophavsmand] 29. aug. 2017 kl. 14:48
Currently it's a bit finicky, so don't worry about it lol. The quest system isn't perfect because of limitations, and the dialogue will be broken for the next bit of the quest (fixing that now), but your objective will be to find a book in Lady Kana's house at the southern Slave Farm. You're advised to sneak in and steal it though (it's locked in a random storage chest) rather than fight her guards, however.
Mango 29. aug. 2017 kl. 14:43
*facepalms* ..My bad... :steamfacepalm:
Bussy Butcher  [ophavsmand] 29. aug. 2017 kl. 14:42
You need to be carrying them over your shoulder for him to accept them. I'm not sure if you can pick them up without knocking them out first, however, so you might have to do that. If they join your squad, you should be able to pick them up without needing to knock them unconscious.
Mango 29. aug. 2017 kl. 14:39
Yes :o all are named "Slave' and their portrait has shackles on them. They're also wearing shackles. took them forever to run across the map...
Bussy Butcher  [ophavsmand] 29. aug. 2017 kl. 14:35
Just to be sure, are you positive that the slaves you're bringing him are the characters that are blatantly called "Slave"? He won't accept anyone that isn't SPECIFICALLY a "Slave" character.
Bussy Butcher  [ophavsmand] 29. aug. 2017 kl. 14:32
Eugh. I'll look into that issue too. He worked just fine when I tested out the quest, but maybe he needs a tweak. Thanks for pointing that out. :) ㊉ Wrath ㊉
Mango 29. aug. 2017 kl. 13:30
Also, I noticed that i brought savior 3 slaves like he asked (went to the slave camp south of Clownsteady and got 3 of them; half of them i bought ran away because of lack of shackles, but i successfully brought 3 to him. still says he needs the 'cargo'.)
Bussy Butcher  [ophavsmand] 29. aug. 2017 kl. 12:22
@㊉ Wrath ㊉ The issue with Brewmaster has been corrected. Happy trading!
Mango 29. aug. 2017 kl. 10:33
No worries :) I'll be looking for an update.
Bussy Butcher  [ophavsmand] 29. aug. 2017 kl. 9:11
I was afraid that would happen. I'll look into the issue. Thought I had fixed it. :steamfacepalm: :steamsad: @㊉ Wrath ㊉
Mango 29. aug. 2017 kl. 4:57
Accepting a shipment from the brewmaster causes Kenshi to crash.
Bussy Butcher  [ophavsmand] 29. aug. 2017 kl. 2:52
Ohhh no. Shun is west of the Swamp, south of Arach (the big mountainous crater-looking place directly west of the Swamp), and west of Crater (the big crater place south-west of The Swamp). It runs along the west coast and is noteworthy for the snaky rivers running through it, and the skin spiders. @haleswitch
Haleswitch 28. aug. 2017 kl. 18:26
Where is shun though? Is it near the swamp are? Based on the pictures, I've ben looking for it around Drifters at the bottom part of the map
Bussy Butcher  [ophavsmand] 28. aug. 2017 kl. 4:49
Desolation is located near the north-east corner of Shun, or should be at any rate. You might spend some time looking, but you'll definitely know it when you see it. @haleswitch
Haleswitch 27. aug. 2017 kl. 22:13
Where is Desolation? I can't find it
Mr.Wanaskiwin "Navarone" 27. aug. 2017 kl. 22:10
aw what infinite wingwang was removed?????
zentegi 27. aug. 2017 kl. 20:34
Another thing you can do is add a bounty to Brewmaster with the United Cities if at all possible. You would think he would have one due to his sheltering of escaped slaves. UC and Holy Nation probably.
Bussy Butcher  [ophavsmand] 26. aug. 2017 kl. 20:12
@bk3000 I figured Brewmaster was pretty fitting in a world where we have people like Bugmaster, Infinite Wingwang (before he was removed), Crumblejon, and Silvershade haha.

As for a quest with bartenders, that would honestly require more work than it's worth. Currently dialogue only detects items in your inventory. It doesn't pull them from it. It'd make for a really weird fetch-quest system that to me feels broken, so I'd rather you simply bought the goods and then sold them for a profit dependent on how far you actually go out of your way to travel.
JLC 26. aug. 2017 kl. 16:44
SNAAAAATCHIES. Lets hope my other 50 mods don't make this one crash :L
bk3000 26. aug. 2017 kl. 15:13
Looks sweet I'll have to try it out. I've been wanting more factions.

Now a suggestion for immersion sake. No one would be named "Brewmaster" for example. But "Brewmaster Steve" sounds better. Only don't use "Steve", but some actual Hiver name or clever nickname etc. Of course if he's a legendary brewmaster, he'd be well known so you'd expect everyone to know him, right?

Maybe a bartender elsewhere could give you a quest to go procure some of his goods?

Thinking about small things like that can add a lot of immersion and flavor.

Thanks for the feedback. :) @Stevezke
