I tryed it, nice design color tiles help,plenty big. but takes 10 drill charges to emty all the rooms.
i placed all under the surface.Maybe place 1 cube by door for depth reference and to find the door faster

Oh, and for the repair dock, if you swap it with the central block of the landing platform it does not compromise structural integrity.


Btw: expanding the landing platform, from personal experience, should be done in increments.

(posting a detailed description, it might help someone starting who cames across it)

e.g.: go out horizontally 3 or 4 blocks on a corner, then create a column deeper than the lake floor by holding the mouse button (I had some cases in which the support column crashed down even if it looked like it was resting firmly on the ground).
Rinse and repeat how many time is needed (and in the directions you want) and only after you're sure the support pillars are actually supporting pave the floor. (you can check structural integrity by holding N and selecting the appropriate options in the menu that pops up)

Awesome! I came to the same conclusion lately, WTF do I do with all this rock dust, and I could use a repair dock for my CV, so I had started working on a similar base, but yours is definitly cooler. The Artemis even fits on the landing platform too. Bravo!
