Updated for Alpha 10. Changed it to the Ore Container Controller and added a little capacity 1063 now available and added Wifi. I think its still pretty agile, lemme know how it stacks up. This BP will always be available

Yea exactly why I'd spawn this on, modify and save under another BP. Not replace it.
I actually just came back to the game last week, soon as I can I'll spawn it in and get a feel for it see if Alpha 10ing it doesnt break it. But I totally again to not fix something thats not broken.

I'd be afraid to mess with the balance but I might make another one and mess around with it also.

Awesome! Glad you like it. I was kickin around the idea of trying to ipdate it to Alpha10, not much be different other then the container controler stuff and maybe retractable drills. Just don't want to ruin its serendipity design. Of course it be a new BP leaving this one intact.

This is an excellent miner. i have built several of them and i keep them lined up and load onto the side wings of the CV from where i then launch them qucikly when i want to go mining. it has excellent mining power/range and when it gets stuck i just flip it around. Can't go heavy duty mining anymore without this. Repairs can be tough so prepare some extra components in the cargo bay. Cockpit dies quickly when you get ambushed. Got hit a by patrol CV once. it took this one out in seconds.

@Burr yes I know.. was a docking problem with my mate. Biggest lost in Space action ever.

holy crap i just tried this thing out and i am blown away, i have tried so many drillers that i couldn't begin to remember how many.

just drilled out an iron deposit never got stuck once or flipped. and was able to drill the way i perfer.

i don't know what makes this ship so good, but you did an excellent job on this. my fav driller hands down.

I lost one in Space, but on planets is it perfect ;)

Yes, its what I use and it seems pretty stable. I think the trick it click to drill and keep it clicked seems to core out a node pretty quick with minimal head stands. I made a vid while I empties 5 nodes in about 10 minutes. take a peek, its loud in the begining, be read

Always said Id never publish a miner cuz theres sooo many, but I thought this one was worth it.

How well does this function? From experience, the miner I built a while ago which was a HV was unstable and kept adjusting to the terrain causing it to go out of out control and at times flip on it's head literally.
