So, I really hate mining with the HV bouncing all over the place falling outta my chair leaning to stay on the ore and never getting out of the hole when I was done. Tried many Miners from the workshop, watched videos, and tried my hand at building one, never thrilled.

So when they added the laser drills to the HV, I decide to build another HV instead of just adding them my old one. Maybe its just me but I think I stumbled on a good design. Small, light, over powered and agile. Its first person and third person friendly, the drills are wider than the body so you don’t have to wiggle a lot to not get stuck.

Oddly enough the back end is lower hover height than the front, a HV driller faux pas, but I can’t deny how well it handles. Maybe it’s the new drills? Dunno, Check it out, tell me what you think. I made a 10 minute video (sound, but no narrative) from my actual SP game on Omicon’s moon where I scooped out 4 nodes including over digging the 3rd to simulate a bigger node, shooting down 2 drones and travel time.

There are no weapons on this HV, I think it might make it top heavy, besides, you’ll be done before they get back after you shoot them down. I usally am in range of my Mobil Base.

The botton is also not coverd, although it does get a little of damage each time it never seems to be the components underneath and never less than 99%.

I like being able to grab stuff without going to the control panel. Cargo box, Harvest Box and O2 dispenser are accessable from the rear. The fuel tanks too, but its easier adding fuel and O2 through the CP
