As for this mod, it should be updated tomorrow!
don't judge me.
There's an odd chance I come back to this project later, but for now, I'm too uninterested to do more than update and bug fix, and the rest of the team is even less so than I am. Similarly to what happened to another mod of mine, I'm more than willing to leave this one for "adoption" to anyone who wants to continue it's development, provided said person contacts me beforehand.
Anyway, if you just want your healthy dose of Ming-Be-Gone, you've got nothing to worry about. Go enjoy your mingless experience!

Otherwise, great mod! It really made the early game fun to have to fight your way into reshaping the empire. ^^
And halving their extra fire and shock received means low-mandate Ming's armies are not as papery as they should be - they are still huge compared to any upstart tributary so they can still throw their weight around quite effectively by sheer numbers alone.
-Tag Zhou is now available by the Collapsed Bookmark with their own National Ideas;
-Increased compatibility massively - should now work with most mods, provided they don't change China much;
-Fixed non-bookmark Ming not being Empire Rank;
-Taking the Mandate is no longer a suicidal move; you get a grace bonus to your Mandate after taking the decision;
-New decision for fully reformed Emperors to reform the succession laws and end the infighting.
Tho truth is, another reason i always like to have BT running, even if im in an area that i dont need it(like when i do my Manchu runs since China is untouched in that mod withou the addon since i dont use that addon ever) is cuz i also have the Byz resurgance mod running even if im not playing as Byz myself cuz i find that mod gives them a much higher chance to survive and even prosper even as the AI
Hell one game not too long ago i was even shocked to see AI Byz attacking the Ottomans pre-emptively in the year 1449 with just Serbia as its ally and actually winning which is something i NEVER saw in Vanilla.
We're giving most of our effort to Photea as of late, since Collapse of Ming is a bit of a completed mod with only nuances to be added in the future.
I, too, appreciate Byzantine Resurgence a lot due to the plentiful content it adds, however I'm not a big fan of BT - mostly because it overrates Anatolia's wealth. Both Byzantium and the Ottomans are just bound to blob unstoppably on that map, and taking control of the Byzantine heartlands takes more wars than it should due to higher total warscore cost.
Didnt even notice your the same one who did Photea, as that was the first mod that i played for Eu4 as Vanilla Byz was so booooring and Byz is one of my 2 favorite nations to play(Jianzhou/Manchu/Qing being the other) but have since been using Byzantine Resurgence since it goes with BT which is a mod i mostly always play with now(unless playing an American Colonizer cuz not a fan of what that mod does to the Caribean) but now that ive seen Photea has a new recent update, i will likely give that mod another run when i do my next Byz run(with the rate of how quickly i tend to start new games, probably wont take that long before i do haha)
Anyways, good job so far with both mods and look forward to your post Dharma updates :)
-Morale from Mandate now works as intended.
-Coal added to four provinces*.
-Minor name change to one of Shun's ideas.
*When RB dropped out, we never actually added the Coal to our province histories. Oops.
I've been meaning to do a minor bugfix patch for Collapse of Ming before Dharma drops out. Since my other projects are a bit stalled right now, I'll fix that and some other stuff in a bit.
Not only does it NOT show up in the mandate tooltip, but at the beginning of the game, when Ming has 60 mandate at start, with the way mandate scales things, they should at 60 mandate have a current 2% boost to army morale right? but when i go into the ledger and army composition and hover over their 2.63 starting morale, there is no 2% for mandate being added into the their base 2.5 morale(2.5 base, power projection 3.2%, prestige 0.5%, and army tradition 1.7% which equals 2.6369 rounded down to 2.63 morale) if the additional 2% from having 60 mandate was included it would give them 2.68 morale which it doesnt.
