In the world of Kenshi, there is no race of flying ichthyanders with four arms. Two arms for the crossbow and the other two for the wings, but they need to be crafted. They live on islands and are the only ones who can mine marble from the bottom of the sea. Skeletons at this depth are flattened by pressure. Marble is needed for facing the buildings of nobles and faction leaders. Ichthyanders are in alliance with mermaids, but not with Disney mutants with a tail, but with Slavic slender legs.

I can't seem to find the files for this mod in the workshop content. It doesn't add to the workshop content folder for some reason.

Yep! :steamthumbsup: There was a multiplier increasing bounty payments... gear didn't match difficulty. Next update (probably soon, since dueling is published) includes balancing those issues, some spawn locations, faction settings & a couple minor tweaks.

Man you need to remove the bounties and reduce the quality of armour, they can make too much easy money, they always end up going to towns and getting owned by guards eventually

It wasn't originally a new race. Change Notes show the new race was added with the 5th version in 2018. Might be an easy fix by changing the load order, but I've never used either of those mods & can't confirm.

They dont seem to work if you have the More Combat Animations mod or Genesis which uses the animation mod. I saw you said it wasnt its own race but it seems like it needs a race patch. Its really cool and i love seeing these goofy bastards but not having combat animations makes them hit me with unblockable psychic mind blasts while their arms casually rest at their sides.

I like the stats of the guys that give you a chance to down them even at lowish level, I like the gear they drop, I like the fact that their weapons are moderate, and I like the frequency of them spawning, I like their run speed: I like this mod

good addition, but I encountered them twice in a row [near squint, meet one, kick them, haul them on our shoulders, encounter same squad a bit further on the way to squint], which feels off. I understand you want players to encounter them but I'd make them unique, you know they're there, so, suspension should be there anyway.. Maybe put some wanted-posters out [if you haven't already]. Also IMHO the bounties are too high for balance sake. [Especially when encountering the squad twice in a row of course]. Ok, enough criticism.. good mod, interesting chars.. !

I had a story in mind, but didn't want to ruin it for the RPers who like to make their own immersive worlds. I will say they're not evil... just angry, xenophobic and not afraid to take it out on almost anything they see. :blissful_creep:

yea it works without import, they just take the place of certain other patrols. It's a really fun mod to work with.

I've heard mods with new groups of enemies need to be re-imported, but I've never tested it. Since NPCs are constantly spawning over time, it seems like mobs should eventually appear even without an import. I can't confirm either way.

"Face weirdness" turned down to 5. That gives them a uniquely unusual look, without excessive clipping or that exploded head appearance. :rose:

Thanks! Not a new race, just a new faction. I cranked the "face weirdness" option to 90. Haven't seen anything unusual yet, but I'll keep trying. They're also set to be 1 of 3 races (scorchlander, hive prince & cannibal skav), but every one I've found has been scorchlander. I'll probably need to tweak a few settings, then update.

That's awesome (haven't played MDK in 20 years, but I remember the head). I set it so some of them would look moderately odd, but haven't come across anything freakish yet. Would love to see that. Are you using the "Everyone is Scary" mod or something similar? If not, it could be the result of an update. I'll keep testing so I can get some freaky screenshots. :blissful_creep:

I'm getting some weird mesh bug where they have massively stretched out heads. Some of them are walking around looking like the dude from MDK

There's a 5-20 point variance on skills, depending on their type. Base numbers are fairly high, so they *could* be about Bugmaster difficulty... and there's a squad of them. Definitely too tough for beginners. I tested it with my noob squad & got wrecked. :rufushurt: :hwsilly:

Hidalgo, umm if they have bountys higher than 100,000 then you can bet they are stroner than the bugmaster....

The only one with a bounty that high is the Executioner... but yeah, the values will change. Currently spawning in: Ashlands, Border Zone, Fog Islands, Leviathan Coast, Spider Plains, Stenn Desert, Great Desert, Swamp, Vain. Locations will also change over time.

In which area are they located? Btw dont you think that the 400k bounty for each is a bit excesive? I mean...if you take down a group of 5 you can get 2.000.000 cats.
