I can confirm that they stop working after the last update. The camobot turrets have the appearance of a research station and don't have any effect on the camobots.

Oh I have everything unlocked. Actually have the mk2 built. But with the recent update they just stay as what looks like... Will I don't know. It has the graphics appearance of another block now.

JarethTheGoblinKing - First you need to go into the mods menu for the world and make sure the mod is enabled for that world. The research requirements are Base Defense for MK1 and Advanced Defense for MK2. They'll be at the bottom of the Weapons tab (all mods items append on the bottom).

I have subscribed to the mod here, and subscribed in the game, but cannot find them turrets in game. any suggestions? like where they should be on the build tree, perhaps their name which can be searched in game?

Works great - exterminates those annoying fucks nicely. Agree with @Succubae - though if possible, a configurable range would be ideal similar to size configuration options for advanced quarries.
