Ok so this *does* work...however it doesn't work if you have event zeds on instead of the standard stock zed type.....can you fix this?

It work, but I have to use this regulation in the killingfloor.ini

MonsterChoice=0
bUseOther=False
MonsterOther=KFMod.ZombieBloat
bRespawnAlternativZed=False
bIgnoreExplosivKills=True
ReplaceZed=KFMod.ZombieBloat

If you made this more complex mod, it would be certainly one of the best. As for example take back the older mutator of SurpriseBloatMut and clotsday. It is just an idea, but it would really be
good to have a new experience of zed.

Can you add that we can choose what spawns from the specimen so like a we can choose that the same zed spawns to give that zombie feel or certain zeds spawn since a fleshpound spawning from a clot is a bit crazy.
Also can you make it that if the zed is killed by explosives the zombie effect won't happen, the head would be in pieces after all.

@Doctor Rubix: A) no it doesnt need a headshot to stay down B) yes it could happen that another bloat spawns but the chance is really really small (maybe i've taken it out that another bloat could spawn but im not sure)

@GMK|J1gS4w: I think what he was originally asking (and what I am now pointedly asking about) is if bloats are selected to stem cell, when I blow the knees out from under the first bloat of the game, will it mutate into another random speciman? Which is yes. So shoot it again. However, will A) the resultent stemciment need a headshot to stay down? and B) if no to A), what about that odd chance a bloat stem cells into another bloat?

Its like you pick the Bloat then you forget to headshot the Bloat and it makes BABY FLOATS!!!!

@ Scary People: you select ONLY ONE zombietype
as example: you select a bloat... you kill a bloat with out popping of his head so it grows into anything else the chance to be a bloat again is really small so it wont cause this issue.
you can kill any other zombie how you want to and nothing will grow out of them

@Scary People- That's not how it works. You kill the main zed with a headshot, and it doesn't turn into anything else. If you don't kill it with a headshot, it only turns into one other zed. The zed it turns into doesn't have to be killed with a headshot.

I mean its like the hydra (that might be a good name--the hydra). You kill one, and it splits into 2 more. Would it only happen once, or would it keep repeating, continually growing.

It would be sort of cool if the only way to prevent it from proliferating endlessly would be to kill the zombies that spawn out of it with headshots

Here's what I mean: the issue might be that you kill the main zombie, making 2 more spawn from it. You then kill those ones, but 2 more spawn from those as well. It might cause an issue. Would you limit it to only one split? What I am suggesting is that you kill the main zombie, spawning 2 more. You then must kill these 2 with headshots to prevent further spreading.

I actually would love to see this as another gamemode, possibly add in an element when player dies and they feed of them they mutate.

hell it would add so many possibilities for singleplayer maps similar to the Resident Evil campaigns. awesome work though Jigsaw :D
