fun mod, BUT - the sound of summoning, and the trolls roars, are MUCH TOO LOUD! The sound are out of proportion to normal trolls roar and the sound of summoning. Please fix this!!

Also, they don't seem very aggressive, mostly stand around and roar

Yes, you're right. I just came back here to tell you that when the follower uses it, it only conjures 1 angry troll. When you use it, it conjures 10. So thank you. Yes, that is the confirmed answer.

When you equip/unequip the staff a perk is assigned to you which overrides the default summoning limit of 1. I'm not sure if this would still work for the companion since I think some of the scripting referred to the player only, and I didn't test it for followers (oversight). For that reason it might not work with followers, creating circumstances where a single troll has to face impossible odds in the land of Skyrim. If there is a command to manually give the perk through the console to another character that would probably fix it. I will see if I can make this work for followers as well and update the mod.

I gave my staff of angry trolls to my follower. Now when he uses it, it conjures only 1 tiny angry troll. It hasn't run out of power so I can't recharge it. The tiny angry troll was greatly helpful when he confronted a cave bear, but I'm just wondering how to get back the other 9.

I have had a bit of fun creating 30 of them in whiterun, fast travelling to the stables, then running back to watch the townfolk have a troll hunting session...I don't know why it happens, but it was all beer and skittles until a few wild arrow shots took out some of my npcs.

Chenzi, I can help you with your mod if you add me on Steam but not if it is a spell. I tried to make a spell version of this and it's actually much trickier. It was too time consuming for me to find out how to do it.

Well, those were only suggestions wether you act on them is your decision.

I could actually add high pitched voices as a separate mod that loads after any other sound mod and it wouldn't interfere that way.

If I added high pitched voices they would override other sound mods some people enjoy, such as swearing trolls and the trololol song. The other idea suggested would take a while to program and, besides, just because they are savage mountain beasts doesn't mean they have to act as such!

I'm not sure if it applies to the instruction book but there is another download source if you are interested. Don't give your trolls any vodka, it makes them not so angry.

What a hilarious mod!, i set some loose in Whiterun and there was mass chaos. An utterly hilarious mod for anyone who wishes to use it, the only thing missing is high pitched voices and poo flinging lol

I agree, poop flinging mini trolls would be funny. We were laughing just reading the comment. I can't image how funny it would be in game.

The only way I could see this mod being funnier is if the mini trolls could fling their poop as a ranged attack.

Kermit, just an update. I just came into Whiterun, and those 'non-disappearing' mini trolls were running all over the place, and the townsfolk were hunting them down. It was hilarious...I had around a dozen guards and residents chasing them around the place. In the end, I had to go and kill them off myself, because there was just too many arrows flying around and I thought I might lose some shopkeepers from friendly fire.

Absolutely hilarious...it would be a shame to lose that effect, but it could also be annoying.

The other thing I've found is that when you cast, you end up with a big bunch of them, and then if you enter a building they all spread out...I guess it's just what ever triggers them. Cheers, and thanks again, this is a very very funny mod (and usefull too).

Ok you need to make a Overlord mod this would be perfect.

This is a cracker of a mod, it's given me aching sides from laughing. A couple of bugs though: 1. Sometimes it still only casts one troll, but the uneqip/equip fixes it...but the thing I did find was that the one troll issue is linked to having the staff in the left hand, when it's in the right hand it works fine. 2. Some of the trolls don't disappear when the effect wears off...I ran around Whiterun casting trolls everywhere, then went and slept for the night. Next morning, there were tiny trolls scattered around the place still. 3. It seems my illusion spells don't actually cause anything to happen to the trolls. I hit a bunch of them with fury and frenzy, and the trolls had the spell glow, but they didn't fight etc. I was hoping to have a mass mini troll war happening :( Man, many thanks, aside from the couple of bugs, this is the funniest mod I've seen.
