>>> Version 0.42

After some heavy thinking and tinkering with the code I managed to finish up the Neutrality Branch of the Focus Tree.

I also added a bit more work to the Hayes Treaty Focus.

Now when you go the Neutrality Path you will be able to recruit more nations to the Saavedra Lamas Treaty, improving relations with them (and between all signatories as well, past and current). In addition to this, signatories will be able to send help to each other if they are engaged in a defensive war. This help can be guns, artillery pieces, tanks (medium or light), airplanes, raw manpower, or divisions. When it comes to divisions, due to game mechanics, though they are called "volunteers" you won't be able to directly control them. These SLT divisions (3 varieties depending on how much equipment you want to send) will be under direct control of the receiving country. While initially your help may not seem like much, remember that EVERY signatorie will be sending some sort of aid most of the time! Every bit counts!

Further down on the neutrality tree you'll be able to apply a neutrality drift to signatories (similar to influence USA gets on America).

The ultimate focus in the Neutrality Tree, "Regional Isolation", is truly a monster to be reckoned with, specially if you manage to get the USA to sign it. All countries going into isolation will cease all trade with warring countries (locking down american resources from assisting european powers), refuse to join factions (unless under direct attack or in the very late game) and get a nice bonus to their own resource production.

In the case of the USA, if you do manage to convince them to join in the Isolation, due to game mechanics I had to do some hand twisting so they won't join the allies if Japan attacks them in the pacific. If this is the case, USA (if controlled by AI) will form it's own faction instead of going with britain (USA might initially join the allies due to timing, but they'll leave once they create their own faction).

On the Hayes side of things, the event chain remains mostly the same. However, if you enact the blockade against them, Paraguay will get a recurring event that'll lower their stability and add to their war support. They should, eventually, declare war on Argentina after a few months (random). Paraguay gets a big bonus to their war effort during the first year of the war, including free factories and enough manpower to mount a decent defense (though it's likely the AI will not do much... but a player could).

That's all for now. As always, thanks for playing and please report any bugs or suggestions!

>>> Version 0.41

Added option to leave the Saavedra Lamas Treaty through focus (as intended) and ability to create factions (Define Sphere of Interest).

Added early version of Hayes Treaty events.

Update: 16 Apr, 2018 @ 9:02pm

>>> Version 0.40

Fixed (I think) crash bug caused by map files after recent Paradox update.

Added start up event that allows the player to remove the USA guarantees in South America for those who wish their war efforts to go undisturbed.

Update: 1 Apr, 2018 @ 11:58pm

>>> Version 0.39

Fixed issue with map not working properly. Went back to Sangriacus states (he actually understands how it works, I just cooked up a quick fix that ended up causing some errors with airbases).

Added a few war support and mobilization speed modifiers to certain ideas.

Modified the effects of YPF yearly focus a bit to make them a tad more relevant (though still not happy with them).

Update: 15 Mar, 2018 @ 10:16pm

>>> Version 0.38

Adapted mod to the latest Cornflakes update.

Had to redo states as Sangriacus' version got outdated. I did my best to patch his work but its seriously not my forte. States LOOK the same... hopefully they work the same. Please report any bugs.

Added in spanish localization, though it could use a bit more proofreading.

Update: 1 Dec, 2017 @ 5:54pm

>>> Version 0.37

Small update. Made it so USA will guarantee Argentina same as other South American countries. This will not happen in Road to 56 unless USA finishes the appropriate focus.

Update: 3 Sep, 2017 @ 8:48pm

Initial Upload

Update: 17 Aug, 2017 @ 8:14pm

>>> Version 0.35

Fixed bug with Capital getting reset and messing up supplies.

Fixed bug with the Seek New Markets event sequence that'd make it fizzle. Problem ocurred when a country would drop out of the deal because of war. This would bug out the exit option for when you have no more trade deals to offer. Now you'll be able to continune on the event normally. If you end your war with the potential trade partner it'll take 1 event rotation before they show up as an option again (meaning, you won't be able to trade with them on the next time the event shows up, but you should be able to on the time after that).

Modified the Trade Deal ideas, now they give and cost only 2% consumer good factories. Also redid the tooltips for the options to portray actual effects (they weren't up to date).

Added two more hidden events to condense ideas a bit more. The quest to tidy up the idea panel continues.

And that's pretty much it I believe.

>>> Version 0.34

Well... Where to start?

Version 0.34 doesn't bring many new things to the table. My focus on this version was compatibility. While it sounds simple at first, I had to go around and pretty much recode the entire mod to make it so instead of replacing vanilla Argentina (or whatever version of Argentina some other mod has), Revised Argentina Mod actually creates a NEW country and takes over vanilla argentina as soon as the game starts.

In this way, I don't have to worry about duplicating ideas or foci or whatever. Since RAM is a new country, none of that is a problem. Of course, since RAM was originally programmed like Argentina, that meant I had to go around and change events, ideas, advisors, flags, etc., which took a good chunk of the month I spent on development (not because it was difficult, but because it was tedious as hell).

I've included version 2 of the National Focus tree. You'll notice right away that it has icons now (I tried custom icons but sadly there seems to be an error making them show a bit offset of their intended locations so I left that for a future version). The overall structure of the tree is quite similar bar the fact that I removed the Electoral Politics branch and melded the Class Struggle Branch with Economic Policies.

In regards to Electoral Politics, those foci are now events and they have been coded so as to give the player to actualyl change the political party ruling the country. New Country Leaders have been added to take over Justo along with some very basic traits (might have to go over them again later).

The Class Struggle events have been condensed a bit and simplified, the still serve the same purpose though.

I've also reduced the Migration Branch, exchanging many of the foci for events. It should now take a bit longer to get the full benefits of either closed or open borders. I've also finally coded the conditions for Safe Haven and Directive 11 to work properly. Safe Haven will be removed if you are at war (as originally intended) and you can only go Directive 11 if your government is Fascism.

A lot of the events and foci have been rebalanced a bit to make them more fair. Can't really recall all the changes right now, I kind of "winged it". Please leave your feedback.

One important change is in regards to resource events. I've coded a new option that allows you to establish a permanent fund for them, meaning that the events will automatically repeat without need of your input (should you desire it). The resources you gain will also increase depending of your level of "excavation" technologies, starting with a base of 4 and going as high as 8 every 180 days.

I've also added a few "clean up" events that will condense some of the ideas you get through the focus tree in order to reduce clutter. It's still not complete but it should serve its purpose to some extent.

Finally, there has been no progress in the Foreign Affairs policy branch. Sorry!

In regards to compatibility, I'm pretty sure this version is compatible with Road to 56 (I haven't encountered any game blockers in my playthroughs and only very minor bugs in console). You will notice, however, that some events specifically tailored for Argentina (like the USA focus Black Chamber operation focus or their influence events) aren't working. I intend to fix this eventually (I think I managed to get the Brazilian events to work but I haven't tested it yet).

I... think that's it.

Please leave your comments behind, I haven't been able to conduct extensive testing.

>>> Version 0.33

Started work on the Malvinas and Georgias del Sur focus. The event is rather complex, perhaps even more complex than the Granary of the World event chain. I’ve only managed to complete the first option in the event: Negotiate directly with Britain. That option has been fully fleshed out and should work. Bear in mind that England is most likely going to refuse no matter what you offer if the conditions aren’t right. Spoilers ahead: In order for Britain to even CONSIDER a deal, she has to be at war with Germany and Argentina must not be in faction with Germany. That MIGHT make the British think about sitting at the negotiating table. Once negotiations are open, Britain is most likely going to refuse everything you have unless you are fielding at least half a million troops. Might have to add a similar condition with navy, but for now it’s that. Still, even with all those conditions met, odds are generally against you. Of course, save scumming will help, as it’s still a matter of chance.

Other than that, I fixed a few bugs in the events I found using the –debug utility and as a landmark for hitting 100 suscribers I’ve also added another event allowing you to choose the fate of General Rodriguez (Army Chief you begin with) who died on February of 1936. It’ll be up to you if you remain historical and let fate run its course or if that 3% conscription bonus is too good to let go.

Ah, I’ve also added the Argentina Reskin and Argentina Quick Fixes as advertised. Hopefully those work fine, haven’t tested a whole lot.
