Hello all! Its been a long time since I sat down and worked on this, so there's big update notes incoming! For those of you who read this, thank you for enjoying this game and being invested in it! Be sure to read all the way to the end, as there's a special suprise in store for you! Now, without further ado, here are the change notes:

First things first, Ive changed all text that says "Play or have played this turn" to "Control". This is something the DC Deckbuilding games had shifted towards ever since Teen Titans, and I very much enjoy its simplicity and shortening of card text. The cards affected are: Demise, Ghirahim, Goron, Guru-Guru, Keese, Shadow Link, and The Goddess Blade.

Next, just a quick note on some grammatical error fixes. You probably didn't notice them, but if you did, Im sure it bugged you as much as it did me. These are the cards that had some errors that I have corrected: Dodongo, Happy Mask Salesman, Hero of Time, Kaepora Gaebora, and Sheikah Leader.

Another quick note before we get to the big stuff, I have removed all the extra baggage text on the ongoing cards, like "When you play this card, leave it in front of you for the rest of the game" from Locations, "While this card is on the Boss Enemy Stack" from Stack Ongoing Bosses, and "Do not discard this card at the end of your turn" from Stone Mask and Majora. This had a similar trend following Teen Titans as well. We all know what Ongoing means, so it saves a lot of space on cards when we skip all that extra text.

Now, for the moment you've all been wating for: The Big Changes. There are a lot of cards that got changes this patch, so Im going to list them all and their changes first, then go over all of them after. Here they are:

Cucco - "Next Turn" instead of "Turn"
Ganon - Changed "Magical Powers, Allies, and Items" to "non-Enemy cards"
Ganondorf - Now only destroys one card in your hand instead of any number.
Ghirahim - Changed "they may choose to lose one Rupee or gain a Weakness" to "they lose one Rupee or gain a Weakness if they have no Rupees"
Goron Mask - Now reads "When you play this card, either discard a card or gain a Weakness. If you cannot, this card gives you no Power. //
+4 Power"
Keese and Malon - Moved the "Gain a Rupee for X" to another line to avoid confusion.
Malladus - Changed "from each player's discard pile" to "from a foe's discard pile"
Ocarina - Added "If you do, Shuffle your deck."

Starting with Cucco, this is a simple mistake someone pointed out WAY back and I since hadn't fixed it. Now, the player attacked by Cucco won't get stuck drawing four cards every turn. Ganon is also a simple one, but less a mistake and more of just a condensing that long list of card types into one, shorter phrase. Ganondorf has seen a big nerf this patch, going from destroying any number of cards in your hand to just one card. This is very significant, as the player who buys Ganondorf first each game usually steamrolls ahead early on. This should alleviate the pressure of trying to slow down that player. Ghirahim felt really weird worded the way he was, so I simply changed it to what people usually ended up doing anyway. Not much of a big change, really. Goron Mask has seen a LOT of different renditions for a similar effect, and hopefully this will be the last change. Its been difficult to find the right phrasing for the effect Ive been aiming for. Keese and Malon were cards that were very awkwardly worded from the get go. Do you get +1 Power for each Enemy/Ally? Or just the 1 Rupee? I have now seperated the +Power and the Rupee gain to hopefully end that confusion. Malladus was just too broken. I don't even know what I was thinking. Hopefully, with this change of only getting one Item from a single foe, he'll feel a bit less intense than normal. Finally, Ocarina should have had this text from the get go. Why I didn't add it in the first play is beyond me.

One final thing before I get to the fun stuff: I noticed as I was updating this that, somehow, somewhere down the line, the Main Deck lost 10 of its cards. I have no idea how this happened, but I have rectified this issue, putting back the following cards: The Master Sword (x1), Wallmaster (x2), Zora (x4), Zora Mask (x2), and Zora's Domain (x1).

Now the fun stuff! The reason I came back to this game was because I had a spark of creative inspiration that lead to the creation of a small expansion similar to the crossover packs from the DC DBGs. This one is based on the Minish Cap, and features 33 new cards and (possibly) 7 new Heroes to play as! The main theme of the mini set is cost manipulation! Cards in the set will let you permanently increase or decrease the cost of cards that are in the Line-Up or in play, which will help you buy cards easier, make it harder for your foes to buy cards, or even allow you to find some interesting interactions with cards that you wouldn't normally be able to find. There are also cards that care about what cost they were when you bought them, as well as cards that care if other cards have a higher or lower cost than their original cost. Lastly, the Kinstone cards allow you to temporarily "team up" with a foe, allowing you both to get ahead when you can "fuse" your Kinstones together for a powerful effect! If you are interested in this set, please leave a comment below! I look forward to hearing from you all. Stay Awesome!
