For its first ablility, "you control" means the cards you play or have played that turn. Only the second effect cares about how many you own, and thats at the end of the game

Hey, quick question. Was trying to figure out how the shadow link cards work. Are they powered up by the number of shadow links that are in play, or like, how many you own, meaning in deck, discard, and hand?
paulyd83 25 Jun, 2019 @ 11:57pm
you are beautiful!
DexThorn  [author] 25 Jun, 2019 @ 7:39pm
Correct! Can be used with any Zelda expansion. :D
paulyd83 25 Jun, 2019 @ 2:34pm
oh man, that's nice! and Hyrule Warriors can be used with all other expansions?
DexThorn  [author] 25 Jun, 2019 @ 6:43am
There is an expansion available for solo/coop play! Its the Hyrule Warriors expansion, which is similar to the Crisis expansions that allowed players to play coop in the DC Deck Building Games.
paulyd83 25 Jun, 2019 @ 12:32am
so if this is like the DC deckbuilding game, you can't play solo or cooperatively?

The game is great and I hope to see either more expansions for it or more games like it being developed. You are awesome and keep up the good work!

Sorry about that! Its been a while and I totally forgot I added those cards to the game. They are teasers for a small expansion I made for Minish Cap, which I never got around to putting up. I can put up the expansion sometime today (and probably a compilation of all the Zelda Deckbuilders to make it easier). As far as the Rupee system works, Each Hero has a way of collecting Rupees. For example, Link gets a Rupee whenever you defeat(buy) or gain an Enemy. Rupees can also be gained by adding cards that say "Gain a Rupee" to your deck and playing them. Rupees stay in your wallet (you keep them) until you wish to use them. You use them by paying the cost of an effect on a card. For example, to use Link's "Boss Enemies cost 2 less for you to defeat this turn", you have to pay 7 Rupees. The same goes for effects on cards. If the effect starts with "X Rupees - " You pay X, then you can use that effect. Hopefully that helps! And Im glad to see people are still playing and enjoying the game!

Ok, so I'm familiar with the DC Deck Builder system. However, I'm having a little difficulty finding any rules for the Rupee system (how exactly to collect/use them). Also, I'm not exactly sure of how to implement the special cards on the table (Blue Kinstone, Cane of Pacci, Minish Woods, etc.). I understand these to be an expansion, but how many of each of these cards are there supposed to be?

Hey, just commenting to say I took one of the suggested board designs linked in this mod and made a functional table with snap-points in TTS. Thought I'd comment to ask if it was okay to upload, or if you wanted to upload it.

Two things, could I have an elaboration on how rupees work? and second how do cards like kese and mallon work? after reading through with friends having power +# AND gain rupees means so long as the requirement is meant you are gaining power and rupees for each card that meets the requirement is this correct? besides those two things I like this game oh and also cucco has a minor typo about it's attack.

Dude this is an awesome mod, may I suggest you cahnge the board though :)
DexThorn  [author] 19 Apr, 2016 @ 2:50pm
I would absolutely love to! How would I do so, though? just link the Workshop item or is there something more? Either way, I would be happy to. : ) thank you for the offer!

Would you be interested in listing your games on the Cerberus Engine Deckbuilding Game group on Steam? I'm in the process of growing the community more. The group has quite a few members that would be willing to help playtest and provide feedback on your custom Cerberus Engine variants.

huh...well, for now, ill put up the last upload so that people can use the first page of the newest one and the rest of the last one. or something to that effect. :)
Ran Constantine 10 Nov, 2015 @ 6:41pm
On my end, eys, it's not showing the two locations either [Zora's Domain and Hyrule Castle]. Luckily for me, I printed the 2-14 pages beforehand, just in case, so I just needed the first page x3 Not sure what's going wrong for others though
DexThorn  [author] 10 Nov, 2015 @ 12:30pm
I have changed the Boss Enemies and Main file, so hopefuly its okay now. However, it didn't show two of the cards (two of the locations) when I looked at it, hopefully it will be different for you. If not, I shall try again.
DexThorn  [author] 10 Nov, 2015 @ 12:17pm
I thought that was weird...it did that at first for me, but it corrected itself...I'll update it again.
Ran Constantine 10 Nov, 2015 @ 10:31am
THat's odd: the first page of "Boss ENemies and Main" is blank when I downloaded it o.o
DexThorn  [author] 9 Nov, 2015 @ 6:46pm
No problem! Im very happy to see that people like my game enough to warrent a physical copy. XD
Ran Constantine 9 Nov, 2015 @ 6:42pm
SO much yes! eeee <3 thankies for the pnp <3
DexThorn  [author] 9 Nov, 2015 @ 1:03pm
That's actually a great idea! I can fix that up really quick for you, if you'd like. I'll add it to the description when I finish.
Ran Constantine 9 Nov, 2015 @ 12:19pm
any way to print-and-play this? :3
Breezysteve 5 Sep, 2015 @ 5:08am
I must be doing something wrong cause I'm subscribed to it and its not in my collection.
Foxy9Tailed 30 Aug, 2015 @ 9:35am
Thank you, and sorry mixing up the decks haha, haven't done this one just yet
DexThorn  [author] 29 Aug, 2015 @ 9:50pm
Soooo Stalfos is in the Wind Waker verison, but I'll answer it here since it was posted here. Stalfos is from your discard pile. Thank you for mentioning it, as well, and I'm going to update that as soon as I can (within the next two days). If you find any more problems, typos, don't hesitate to point them out!
Foxy9Tailed 29 Aug, 2015 @ 3:37pm
Just a question on Stalfo's, and wonder if the card is played from the discard or from other area;s on the board since it wasn't cleared from the text.
Simorico 12 Aug, 2015 @ 9:22pm
breezysteve, once ur subscribed, it automatically downloads it
Breezysteve 12 Aug, 2015 @ 6:28pm
once subscribed, where do you download it to try it...I'm new to steam and trying to figure it out
Kagekaze 28 Jun, 2015 @ 5:01pm
Okay, the new cards are much better than the version I played awhile back. I noticed it was updated yet again just the last day as well. I like that you now have Victory Point cards, but they might be a bit strong. For example, the tingle cards that give VP might give 1 VP every 2 Rupee instead of 1.

It's shaping up nicely but the text is still exremely burry. I've got friends that have a very hard time reading it on lower res monitors. :( Keep up the good work, it's looking better each time.
Kagekaze 27 Jun, 2015 @ 2:13am
I need to try this again since the cards were updated a few days ago. My initial impressions were the game was not bad, but Tingle was a bit annoying to fight against and there weren't many synergies or point cards (special value cards for victory conditions). I'll give it another go as well as the windwaker one you posted and try to provide some feedback.
