✅ NEXT CRITICAL FIX: Regeneration Logic on Servers

The following bug affecting Dedicated Servers and Clients has been resolved. (Local offline games were not affected by this specific issue.)

  • What Happened: The mod's logic would fail if a character died mid-session. Regeneration stopped working because the stat tracking only initialized if the character was present at the world's startup.
  • The Fix: I had to unfortunately rewrite the entire tracking logic. It was time-consuming, but extensive tests (including dying multiple times on dedicated servers and local games) have confirmed the fix is successful.

✨ Minor Backend Fixes

  • Fixed an issue with the Composters' Block Variant Groups for smoother placement.
  • Resolved a bug affecting the Food Production Block Variant Group. This ensures the group displays correctly regardless of whether the Vertical Farm Mod is installed, on both dedicated and local servers.

Please post any further problems you encounter! I will continue to address these issues until the mod reaches "Rock Solid" (Release) status!

This patch focuses on resolving critical configuration bugs and streamlining the user experience. All changes have been extensively tested on a Dedicated Server and in offline mode to ensure stability.

  • Configuration Bugs Fixed: Settings related to eating in specific blocks were previously faulty. They are now fully functional and stable. This resolves issues with the following configurations:
    • AllowEatingInCryo (Eating inside a Cryo Chamber)
    • AllowEatingInBed (Eating while lying in a Bed)
    • IgnoreClosedHelmet (Ignoring the closed helmet requirement for consumption)

  • UI Clean-up: If the Sleep/Fatigue mechanic is disabled via the EnableSleepEffect config option, the associated UI element is now completely hidden.
  • Vignette Control: Newly added option: EnableVignetteFirstPerson. This allows you to disable the visual vignette effect in first-person view (used for debuffs like severe fatigue) if it is unwanted.
  • Extensive Config Expansion: Numerous new configuration values have been added to grant server admins precise control over all core mechanics (Water, Recovery, Medical Room, and Advanced Radiation settings).

  • Typo Fixed: Standardized the naming convention to Pellet instead of 'Pallet' across all files.
  • Visual Fix: Fixed the HydroPellet icon.
  • Backend Fixes: Resolved issues with Blueprint Classes, Block Variant Groups, and Block Categories to improve organization.

Everything should now be easily findable in the Production Tab or within the Algae Farm Block Variant Group.

✨ Enhanced Compatibility & Visuals

  • Consumables Compatibility: Enhanced compatibility with other mods! The system is now designed to automatically ignore any unknown status effects on consumables, preventing conflicts and improving stability.
  • New Physical Item: Added HydroPallets as a physical object.
  • Visual Integration: The Suit Power Bank's battery icon will now correctly display on the HUD (if the mod is present).

✅ Mod Safety & Old Saves

  • Safe to Remove/Add: The mod is now safe to add or remove from your world.
  • IMPORTANT for Old Saves: If you are loading an old save game, you must first update to the latest version (BETA 1.3) and then ensure all characters respawn. Failure to do so may result in the save game becoming unloadable.

Bugfix: Fixed an issue where the radiation immunity from "Radiation Immunity MedKits" was not applying to radiation from Uranium Ingots.
