Update: 6 Aug @ 12:45pm

- Fixed an issue in fractal++ that made it impossible to interact with civs in distant lands in the antiquity age. (The fix will only work for newly generated maps).

Update: 3 Aug @ 8:47am

- Quickfix for an issue where some tiles on the home continent were labeled as distant lands in "Diverse Terra Incognita Continents".

Update: 31 Jul @ 8:12am

- Made starting continent in "Diverse Terra Incognita Continents" larger (and the other continent smaller). City states will still spawn on both continents, it seems like there is no way around that for now.
- Increased maximum size of the tropics, to allow for larger jungles.

Update: 23 Jul @ 10:48am

- Adjusted spawn positions in fractal++:
- Players will spawn at least 9 tiles apart from one another, whenever the map allows it
- Start locations have a slightly lower chance of being close to the poles, in order to avoid too many tundra spawns
- Slightly increased average amount of landmass on fractal++ maps
- Slightly decreased amount of snow across all diverse map types

Update: 19 Jul @ 6:13am

- Reworked biome placement to allow for smaller biomes. Huge biomes that fill an entire continent should appear much less frequent now, and biome distribution should be more equal.
- Added more snow variability, and on average a slightly higher snow coverage than vanilla.
- Slightly decreased amount of mountains again (still WIP)
- Added mountain generation to fractal, fractal++ and diverse-pangaea-plus, where they were missing before. Archipelago is left out intentionally.

Update: 16 Jul @ 8:13am

- Added Diverse Fractal++ map type
- Slightly decreased variability of hill amount for all maps

Update: 14 Jul @ 3:28am

- Added new map types: Diverse archipelago, Diverse Fractal, Diverse Terra Incognita continents and Diverse Pangaea Plus
- Added localization for most languages

Update: 12 Jul @ 4:29am

- Reduced the maximum amount of mountains possible on a map
- Slightly decreased biome sizes for Diverse Continents, and adjusted probability distribution of biomes
- Added more waviness to tropics and tundra generation

Update: 10 Jul @ 2:15pm

Update: 10 Jul @ 1:12pm

This Mod adds 2 new Map types: Diverse Continents, which feature a dynamic amount of mountains & hills, and a more dynamic biome distribution. These biomes will not longer be only created based on the latitude, but also a bit more random. That means: No more biomes that just stretch across the globe from west to east along a certain latitude!
The second Map type is Noisy Continents, and effectively does the same, but with a lot smaller and more noise biome distributions.
Jungle and Tundra will still be generated around their specific latitudes, but now also has a chance to deviate from that latitude a bit, and be larger or smaller.

This mod is still in early development, so some adjustments might be made in the future.
