Version 3.0: Added first iteration of the Technocratic Features
  • build the NEXUS Project - making a big computer centre in the end
  • after that create a new form of labore - robots. Workors without the need of money.

(There are still a few bugs, but with the new update, it's a bit difficult to fix them. In particular, the robot logic isn't working, but I'll fix that as soon as possible.)

The next update will add efficient production buildings to the technocrats. After that, I'll focus on corpocratic hierarchies so that you can control your nation through multiple companies or just one.

  • Fixed a small misstake I made in the code
  • Added "Community Mod Framework" to the Mod
  • Added link from the culture tab to the feudalistic diraction law group through the CMF

Also with that I will start working again on the mod. And so the next stop will be the technocracy, create a world of reason and mechanics. Without unnecessary humans in the middle.

Feudalistic Update - v0.25

This is a rework for the "Game of Shadows" part of the power development laws. This has been significantly expanded in function and is now more in line with my goal with this part of the law. It is now an alternative way to ‘Corn Law’ to quickly modernise a country. This update also includes bug fixes and adjustments.

!Unfortunately I was not able to test this update extensively and many event texts are not finished and will be added bit by bit. If there are any bugs, please write them in the discussion or as a comment so that I can fix them as soon as possible!


Miscellaneous:

  • Theocracies now have a main faith after they discriminate against other pops. Thus it is not possible for foreign religions to ascend in these hierarchies.
  • There is a new technology (level 3) and a new law. Both are called Corporatocracy and lead to the Corporatocratic Hierarchy
  • Bug fix: "The Game of Power" now works even if the IG Church/Fromme is not in the government
  • The ruler's IG changes depending on which path is taken. This means that there is always a legitimate Government

About "Game of Shadows":
In addition to the previous option of simply waiting, the player can now choose between 4 IGs and decide which laws are most likely to be changed in the end. Over time, you get more and more debuffs, but as soon as a minimum number is reached, you can help the IG to power and enforce many laws at the same time. The more debuffs, the more and more radical the laws.

At the moment there is not much interaction and the texts of almost all events are not yet written and have so far been filled in with placeholders. So this is still in a rather experimental phase and feedback is very welcome.


Note: I won't be able to work on the mod much in the next 2 months due to exams. I will not be able to provide more than hotfixes in this period.

Feudalistic Update - v0.2

  • The unlocking of feudalistic hierarchy has been revised
  • 7 new laws which specify the current power development in the feudalistic hierarchy in more detail
  • 3 new journal entries which unlock the individual laws
  • all feudalistic laws with their own effects
  • the hierarchy now also affects the acceptance of pops

Compatibility:
  • 00_social_hierarchies is no longer overwritten (thanks to Luxgor). So the mod is now compatible with all mods as long as they do not remove the vanilla laws.

Misc:
  • Militantic now needs Militarized Police or Dedicated Police (thanks to Cnado)
  • New Syndicratic class: Syndicateless
  • Corporatism law and tech will be reevaluated where it should occur and a new law will be introduced for Corpocratic Hierarchy to replace Corporate State (thanks to force200)

Script:
  • Scripts tidied up
  • For debugging there are now events to get the laws that trigger the individual hierarchies

Focus for the next update:
Part 1 for theocratic hierarchy and the first random events for feudalistic hierarchy. Also, reworking the new “The Game of Shadows” law to have mechanics (and then also events) to actually choose a side and fight against the other sides, with lasting effects and consequence.
