ADJUSTMENTS

- in addition to touching rot slime, ingesting rot meat will now inflict rot. Ingesting rot-infected meat is a nigh-guaranteed infection, but may lay dormant for longer until being triggered.
– same as its initial implementation, I can’t seem to make this a straight contact>timer>transformation progression due to DF’s buggy nature. If I attempt to tie the transformation syndrome directly to the touched material, it bugs out and turns everything into the same rot creature variant.
- added [nofear]/[noexert] tags to miros creatures, and removed [natural] tags
- added "growing" to the name of vulture grubs that have met the conditions to grow into adults
- rot is now mutually exclusive with reanimation in terms of syndromes, to prevent graphical and mechanical conflicts. rotting units will be tagged as [NOT_LIVING], and the rot infection itself will not affect [NOT_LIVING] creatures.
- added the curiousbeast eater and guzzler tags to rot, meaning that rot cysts and rot-infected creatures will now attempt to C O N S U M E your stockpiles.
- lizards have been completely resprited
– new baby/icon sprites
– adults have multiple random feature variations
– now use palettes
- made rare lizard colors (albino, leucistic) twice as common to offset their recessive rarity
- added ivory as a rare accent color for caramel lizards
- changed salamanders to use black/white as main body colors
- removed "scarlet" from salamander accent colors and replaced it with "heliotrope"
- lizards now have frills in their body plan. this may not be entirely accurate to the visual sprite variations, but should provide some fun variety to injuries
– yeeks also now have body frills!
- gave salamanders the ability to very slowly regenerate body parts
- added tongue attack interaction to appropriate lizards. this is a ranged interaction that applies a brief paralysis syndrome to the target, which gets less effective the larger the target.
- added tail slap and claw attacks to various lizards
- adjusted lizard lifecycles. they now grow to adult more quickly, but take longer to reach full size.
- increased lizard clutch sizes to 3-6
- changed vulture grubs to grow via syndrome-inducing internal secretions. growth should be more reliable and is no longer dependant on creature interactions
- vulture grub metamorphosis now takes four years. a countdown is shown on the creature’s name
- fixed vulture jets being inside out. oops?
- all creature and plant spawns have been redistributed through the biomes based on where they spawn in Watcher (or otherwise, what makes the most sense and helps distribute creatures evenly)
- almost all creatures and plants are now ubiquitous to ensure they actually populate their new biomes
- spore puffs are now toxic to all insects (plus certain things like frogs)

NEW CREATURES

- added train lizard megabeast
- added blizzard lizard and its laser beam (technically an ice breath. unsure if I can make it more damaging)
- added indigo lizard with contact toxin that increases in intensity along with exposure
- added angel moth (shearable, drains blood on proboscis attack)
- added house moth (vermin hunter, adopts owners like cats, drains blood on proboscis attack)
- added sky whale (many variant sprites for spots, plates, and scars)
- added sand worm
- added antenna rat
- added horned frog (drains blood on attack)
- added box worms and fire sprites (two color variants that are separate creatures. sprites are males and worms are females, which give “live birth”. worms are rarer and are born as children. sprites are more common and are born as babies bound to the mother box worm, but completely skip the child stage to grow up)
- added barnacle (with stun attack)
- added loach
- added drill crabs (can retreat into metal shells)
- added void worms and rot worms as "mythical" creatures that don't actually functionally exist (yet), but may be referenced in art
- tardigrades have technically been sprited, but will be implemented later. they’re not cooperating at all, sorry!!

NEW PLANTS

- added rotcorn (evil biomes only, will inflict rot infections upon being consumed)
- added glow weed
- added lilypucks (flower and stem can be harvested)
- added bubble weed
- added dandelion peaches (thread)
- added pole plants (similar to quarry bushes, good leaf producer for meals)
- added cherrybombs (oil, thread, and red dye)
- added flashbangs (oil)
