Fixed an issue where the "Paris Commune" journal entry could fail to trigger due to revolutionary wars leading to annexation into the Commune, which in turn prevented completion of the "Government of National Defence" journal entry.

Added new effects to the completion of the "Government of National Defence" journal entry: it will now reform either census suffrage or universal suffrage based on the situation, preventing an immediate failure in the "National Assembly" journal entry after obtaining the "Third Republic."

Revised the journal text for "German Confederation" to better reflect historical accuracy.

I'm happy to announce that, with the original author @jae's permission, the English localization of VC has now been integrated into the main mod package!

Major French Content Update — Vive La France! 🇫🇷


20 new journal entries added for France, covering the Second Republic, Bonapartist Empire, Government of National Defense, Paris Commune, the Third Republic, the Entente Cordiale, and more.

45 new events added for France, spanning all the above historical periods.

Added 3 new journal entries, 5 events, and 1 decision related to the Eastern Question and the Crimean War.

Other Improvements:

  • Whenever any interest group's journal progress is completed, the Parisian political arena will now launch a coup, changing France's laws and monopolizing power for an extended time.

  • Fixed numerous desynchronization issues in multiplayer, greatly reducing error frequency.

  • Added new interest group traits for the Petite Bourgeoisie in Germany and the USA, and for the Peasantry in Russia and China.

  • France's “Radical Party” ideology has been split into *Radical Republicans* (for the Intelligentsia) and *Moderate Republicans* (for the Petite Bourgeoisie).

  • In the United States, the Petite Bourgeoisie now adopts *Federalists* instead of Reactionaries, and the Armed Forces now use *Guardians of the Constitution* instead of Patriots.

  • A new liberal version of the *Patriot* ideology will replace the original once the Human Rights tech is researched and either Freedom of Assembly or Free Speech is unlocked.

  • The “Gateway to the European Continent” journal has been optimized — you no longer need to repeatedly click to invest in Belgium.

  • The “Xinhai Revolution” journal will no longer trigger if China is a subject nation.

  • Two new flavor events have been added for the United Kingdom. They will trigger annually while the “His Majesty’s Government” journal is active and conditions are met.

  • Several imbalanced values have been adjusted to better reflect historical and gameplay accuracy.

A bug in yesterday's version allowed AI Great Powers to easily leave the assembly and prematurely end the journal. This issue has now been fixed.
（There is no new localization content for now — the political journals for France are still under development.）

Added a new possible to the Leave the National Assembly journal button: if a country has already rejected all motions related to German unification and is neither the target of a diplomatic play nor currently at war, it will be allowed to exit the National Assembly regardless of interest group demands.

Fixed a bug where the Frankfurt National Assembly could end prematurely due to a Great Power withdrawing immediately after it begins.

Fixed an issue in Reform the Customs System where requesting aid from the United States or France would not correctly advance the progress bar.
