  • Made sure you can't gift, sell, or release a pet that's actively dying
  • Tweaked the "Search for animal" decision (completion times)
  • Added some text variations to events and updated some text
  • Added "Opinion", showing the pet's opinion of their owner, to the pet window
  • Added "Open Your Menagerie" widget button to events so you can open the menagerie with the relevant pet already selected
  • Made pets more likely to get pregnant/get other pets pregnant
  • Added "Allow Breeding" toggle to pet window

  • Two of your pets are getting it on (pets_expanded.2021)

  • Added "Gifted to you by: X" section to the pet window to show the character that gifted you the pet (only from the "Gift Pet" character interaction, so far)
  • Tweaked the numbers for the "ruler gives you pet" event slightly, so the event should be less prevalent and more strict about not triggering for characters that hate you
  • Made the Keeper a bit more likely to find a pet if you send them to search for one
  • Added "Rename" option to the pet window
  • Updated localization files so the English text is available for all languages (again)

  • Added "Open Your Menagerie" interaction to your Keeper of the Menagerie that opens the Menagerie window, to help players who have issues with the HUD tab
  • Added "Release Pet" option in the menagerie window, to enable players to always get rid of pets even if they're not named
  • Loosened the restrictions for who can get pet events, to hopefully help players who felt that they didn't get any events or that their Keeper never finished their search for animals
  • Added new custom loc for animal sound: "huff"

  • Moved the UI button up a bit, increased the opacity, and added a highlight
  • Added a new decision, "Search for Animal", that allows the player to influence the pet that the Keeper of the Menagerie looks for. There is still some randomness in the outcome, however!

  • pets_expanded_keeper_of_menagerie.2000 - Keeper will look for pet! (triggered from the decision: keeper_of_menagerie_search_for_pet_decision)

  • Moved the UI button down a bit to hopefully work better with other mods
  • Changed the Keeper of the Menagerie court position category to "common"
  • Updated some script in the court position file that changed with the latest update

  • Made another pass on frequency of events
  • Added some alternative desc to some events
  • Added lowered pet-health as they age, and an interface message informing about this
  • Made sure the interface messages use the right icon and theme
  • Made it so the "do you want me to look for animals?" keeper of the menagerie event pops more often, but has a "blocker-option" if you don't want to get asked again for a while
