Due to fairly big changes this version is not compatible with earlier versions and will require a new world

Adventure Mode Stuff!

no portraits yet but it is working in adventure mode.
In adventure mode it does not seem to prevent you from equipping weapons that are too large for you so the totem
weapons may be unnecessary?

If you wish to craft them you will be able to as usual when adventure mode crafting is added.

Oddity: Shirt graphic does not seem to appear on any character in adventure mode.

New Language:

Added Grimalkin as a language: an amalgamation of other civilization's languages

Kinda balance stuff:

Changed how totem weapons and the civilization work.
Now you can craft and embark with any weapon type, however you will no longer be able to craft and embark with totems directly (outside of axes and picks for convenience)
The recipe now only requires bones instead of totems specifically.

Added Handboots for your non quadrupedal citizens.

These changes affect the entity file, requiring a new world for changes to take effect.

Removed the ability to forge regular halberds. Sometimes on world gen quick embark loadouts would choose halberds instead of totem axes.

Added an additional reaction to crafts workshop allowing halberd totems to also be upgraded from battle axe totems to still allow easy access to halberd units.

If you are starting with Halberds and do not want to create a new world you can select the totem axes from the preparation menu.

Or

If you want a more challenging start you can enchant the halberds yourself.

Minor update,

This changes the entity file, a new world will need to be generated for changes to take effect.

Added the ability to craft two handed swords, mauls, pikes, and halberds.

These weapons can be made at the metalsmith workshop as normal, but they will need to be turned into a totem in order to be used.

Removed the ability to create regular battle axes. These were sometimes being selected as default on world gen leading to quick embarks starting with axes the cats can't use.

Battle axe totems are still craftable at the forge.

This change will not affect currently generated worlds.

If you do not want to generate a new world and are starting with regular axes by default you can select totem axes in the preparation screen.

added sprites for weapons and tools, currently only one color variety.

allowed shield sprites to appear in game, only vanilla sprites for now.
