Mod version 1.33 for game version 0.24.2

Hey guys it's been a hot minute! I've been working on a bunch of stuff unrelated to the mod (Youtube, regular gaming, irl work, random art for my Artstation account), But i've finally gotten around to updating the mod! So here's what we got :3

Awakeninator chances from bosses increased ( 5% -> 8% )
Lucky Chicken surface spawn chance increased (5 tickets -> 8 tickets)
Added Lucky Chicken cave spawn chance (5 tickets)
Clover Token buffed (All damage -20% -> All damage -15%). It felt underwhelming to use for something that was pretty difficult to find.
All Gems price changed (100 Gem Dust -> 80) (4 Nova Shards -> 6)
Gem Collection price changed (added a 20 nova shard cost)
Fixed bug where looking over meat or jungle armor would crash the game.
Fixed the meat and chilled bloodplate not displaying the set bonuses properly.

I felt bad for not doing much with the mod in a while, so... Here's a few trinkets!
Added 4 new medallion trinkets, they're similar to the Evil's Protector focis except for no tradeoffs. Each doing 5% more class damage, crit damage, and crit chance.
Also added an upgrade that combines the 4 into a single item (Medallion Board), which is the same but with 10% and for all classes.

Mod version 1.32 for game version 0.24.0

Not much to say this time around. Go look at my youtube channel or something idk (I gotta plug it everywhere sorry :3)

Changes from last update:
No longer registers the example packet, just so it doesn't create any conflicts
Fixed tooltip for "Nightmare Head" displaying the old movement speed value.
Gusts cave spawn rate changed from 20 to 25, and surface spawn rate from 15 to 10
Gusts search distance changed from 1536 (WAY too high for this mob) to 456
These should HOPEFULLY fix being swarmed by gusts. I didn't realize that it was multiplying the search distance instead of just being a set number.
(Basically a gust would spawn in and IMMEDIATELY start going towards you.)
Nerfed Blood Gem, bleed only lasts 6 seconds instead of 8 (resulting in 18 damage per bleed instead of 24), this also applies to "Your Gem Collection"
"The Mountain" now requires 5000 stone instead of 500. (Stone is incredibly easy to get an over abundance of)
"Slimy Stick" didn't actually have a crafting recipe. So it can now be made at a workstation like it should've been.
Adjusted Nova shard/fragment cost for items (some were too few, some were too expensive)
Shortened the (Tribute) in tribute item names to just (T).

Alrighty. Here's the new content for this update:
Added a 'secret' mob to the snow surface, it only spawns during the day, and drops a new trinket. (25% Crit chance but -20% damage)
Added a vanity 'tribute' set for a friend, which can be crafted at the "Table Of Awakening" for nova shards.
Added an upgrade to the bloodplate and frost set. Combining the effects of both + a little extra defense.
Added a new upgrade to the novice tome because mage just didn't receive a demonic workstation item in the 1.30 update (whoopsies)

Mod version 1.31 for game version 0.24.0

Oh boy another update at 4 AM. I added 17 new items (meaning we're at I believe 87 items? I'ma have to recount it later) in this update so lets hop right into it.
Anyways here's the changes that were made

Changes from last update:
Foxes drop tails at 8% instead of 10%
Nightmares drop their head at 8% instead of 10% (This was to avoid cluttering.)
Snowy Nightmares drop their head at 4% instead of 10% (wasn't meant to drop to begin with, but with the nerf head received I'll let it keep dropping)
Nightmare Head now only gives 75% more movement speed compared to the previous 200% (didn't consider several factors, such as boss fights, puzzle dungeons, traveling in general.)
Gusts drop Wind Essence (WE) at 40% instead of 50%
Gusts now drop at min 3 WE, and at max 5 (compared to the 1-3 before.)
Halved Gust spawnrate on surface and caves. Spawned way too frequently.
(Gust drop rates will probably need to be adjusted again in the future)
Decreased max nova fragments from chests from 64 to 48
Decreased max nova shards from deep chests from 32 to 16
Gave all weapons appropriate upgrade values (Before every item would be upgraded to 55 damage, and magic items would also suddenly require 55 mana as well.)
Adjusted enchantment costs (some items were incredibly expensive compared to when you obtained them)
Sapling Sword nerfed from 24 damage to 18 damage (it made heavy hammer useless, wasn't what I was trying to do.)
Nightblade Sword nerfed from 30 to 28 damage
Jade Waraxe damage buffed from 29 to 30
"The Mountain" attack speed buffed from 470 to 430
"The Mountain" damage buffed from 36 to 38
"The Mountain" has a slightly tighter spread (10 to 9)
Cosmic Fire buff (Nova Arrow and Ironsoul Glaive) damage increased from 12 to 14
Nova Fragment stack size increased from 999 to 9999
Foxes finally drop 'gore' (this has been an issue since release that I just now figured out how to fix while messing around with sprites on my own)
Fixed an issue with the sprite sheet for "Sentient Crown" where it's up facing sprite dropped far lower than it should've.

And now onto the meat of the update :3

Added a caveling to both deep and regular forest caves that would drop a new loot bag that'll drop one of the new 14 Gem Trinkets, along with a pity-system where you can collect gem dust to create the one you want at an alchemy table.
These cavelings are *slightly* rarer than regular ore holding cavelings. (90 tickets compared to the regular cavelings using 100 tickets)
These can all be fused together to create "Your Gem Collection" (made at a Table Of Awakening) which will have all 14 gems (incredibly overpowered)
Note* Every Gem has an equal chance to drop. New Gems may be added if I think of something funny to make into one.
Another Note* You are MEANT to be able to use gems with the collection equipt. Meaning having both the collection and lets say, a mana gem, would give you 300 max mana, which is 200 more than base, and 100 more than if you just had one of the 2 equipt.

Anyways I'll be taking a break from Vulpes Nova. Hopefully this spices things up a little bit, and of course feedback is always needed :3

Mod version 1.3 for game version 0.24.0

Oh boy oh boy is this a big update. Tripling what was already in the mod, completely reworking how you get Nova Shards, and armor sets??? That's not something I was able to do before no waaaay. Anyways here's a list of every item so far. an (N) being New, and (T) Meaning it's a tribute item (as in, I made it specifically about one person).

Pretty sure all the weapons now do damage again. The mod should be in a completely playable state again with no issues :)

I didn't really look for bugs past the game simply being unable to launch with the mod enabled. Hopefully it's all good now

Mod version 1.2 for game version 0.22.1

ignore the last version update I forgot to actually make the recipe craft the right thing lol.

For starters we can now:

Craft the Fox Token at an iron anvil for 12 Gold Bars, 3 Demonic Bars, 3 Ivy Bars, and 3 Nova Shards.
(I really should've had a recipe for this already in the game tbh my bad)

Nova shards can now be crafted using either
A. 4 Copper, Iron, and Gold Bars
B. 3 Demonic Bars
I made this change so that you'll actually be able to craft the pre-Evil Protector items before well... evil protector.
Originally it needed BOTH of these, but it seemed too much (in my opinion) for something you'll need a LOT of.

The Nova Shard thing may be fixed at a later time, as of now this is more or so a hot fix*

Along with these changes, I've made all magic items consume mana (but the amount needed might be too costly, I'll need player feedback on that as im currently playing through as melee)

Also I think I broke the Celestial Ember in some way? I updated it so that it used the same code as every other magic weapon and not the example mod code, so if it's busted (overpowered or just broken in general) please tell me :3

Mod version 1.11 for game version 0.21.29

It's been a while, but I'm still alive and all that funny stuff.

I didn't add a whole lot like the other updates I've previously done so it's just gonna be 1.11 now :3

Here's a small update to hopefully fix some issues, and add a new weapon due to how few summoner had compared to the others:

Nightmare now only spawns in deep caverns, but has received more health and damage to compensate for that. (Due to this, nova shards on items might need to be changed again. Please tell me if this needs changed or not.)

"The Necromancer's Requiem" is a new summoner weapon, and the first item that requires the "Fox Token" to create. It's a powerful undead raiser that spawns 4 minions upon use, and is (hopefully) expensive to create. Each use is only 1 summon slot so you'll be able to have about 20 minions at once!

Mod version 1.1 for game version 0.21.29

Woooo an update! Big thanks for getting us on the front-page, and 100 subs on the mod :)
This one primarily focused on a few balancing changes. (Also there's a new discussion board for questions)
Foxes and Nightmare now have (incredibly) decreased nova shard drop rates and drop amounts (after 20 minutes of playing the mod we had enough shards from simply killing them to get every item available in the mod)
Which brings us to the next part. We've made crafting these items more expensive due to how quick we were able to get them, just about every nova shard requirement was doubled and the amount of regular items to craft them was also increased a small bit.

Sapling Sword received a 4 damage buff.

Nightmare got a buff (50 HP to 70 HP)

Fixed issue with Sapling Sword and Night Blade projectiles not going through 1 tile holes

The new items added in this update are:

Golden Arrow (Now used to make the Nova Arrow. Nova Arrow got 1 more damage for this)
