Fixed a bug with the panthers vet ability.
fixed another bug with the repair ability for assault engineers.
fixed 2 other minor issues.. not really critical just more annoying than anything.

gave US paras a slight buff to how much suppression it takes to pin and supress them and increased their recovery speed. so they dont suck as much. hopefully they wont just feel like riflemen dropped form the sky now. also a few other minor tweaks were added.

changed gren reinforce time modifier from 1 to 0.75 sense it takes so long for them to reinforce. hopefully this will get them topped up and back in the field slightly quicker.

-Removed normal overwatch cost, reduced elite cost to 10 munitions. As an alternate way of balancing the unit i increased MP cost of the officer callin from 280 to 360mp and replacement cost from 25 to 40mp, I also increased target size to 1.1 making it easier to kill and punishing losses. The small 10 munition cost for the elite ability is intended to add a small Munition drain to the unit sense the elite ability has a faster cool down and a larger AOE area than the standard ability. If you manage to get this unit to vet up high enough to unlock the elite ability you are rewarded for it with a faster CD and larger AOE, but it also means you're fighting a noob who cant kill the OP officer and they frankly need some help, and thats what the idea behind this 10 munition cost rework is designed to do.. Atleast in theory, lets see how it actually plays out.

-Fixed missing Ranger weapon abilities (thanks to the user for pointing this out 0/\0)

-Trawled the relic coh3 discord for bugs to fix and nailed a few units not behaving correctly like the US 75mm AT halftrack not revealing itself when firing from the fog of war, along with several other small bug fixes and tweaks.

-Buffed the Wher and Dak Mg34 cuz they were kinda Le-crap.

-Buffed the Wher Flak halftrack in the P-Gren building cuz it was mega crap, it should now be more accurate and have better suppression. hopefully maybe now its worth building/using.

-Increased cost of chaffee fuel back to 50 from 45 because i made it actually good awhile ago and it was alittle too strong for the price point i like how its preforming, but the cost needed to go back up abit.

-Added towing ability to chaffee so it can pull De-crewed guns cuz i thought it would be funny and the unit has a trailer hitch on it, so why not?

-Reduced the cost of Wher bunkers down to 175mp like in default sense they needed some help.

-Reduced the cost of the medical upgrade for the Wher bunkers and halftrack to 50 munitions like every other factions medical upgrade is in the mod.

-Added Focus Vehicle toggle to US rangers if they have an AT weapon in their inventory.

-Actually fixed British base HMGs.. Relic y u do this? (i thought i did last time but mod tools suck)

-Added B25 bombing strike to US air command center. (note it is not possible to make them have double bombers)
small UI cleanup and fixes.

-Somehow actually got the 105mm auto-fire ability bug fixed and working for the us.. dont ask, idk... i dont think it was anything i did, it just started working magically for no reason. i wish i could get the 250 infantry hold halftrack to work too.

-Added Vet 2 auto fire ability british 5.5 inch arty emplacements cuz why not?

even more bug fixes & polish (but i actually did some stuff too)

assault engineers now have their missing repair ability (surprised noone mentioned this)
us repair depot is selectable again (not sure how this even happened tbh)

British repair depot is selectable again. (what's going on? this is starting to smell like Relic™)

added a supervise production ability to us captain. (must have vet 1 and pick any vet upgrade to access it)

Added British and Dak snipers.. the audio is bugged and i cant fix it cuz this isnt coh1 where i could actually do custom audio... or coh2 where i could find something else in the files to override it with cuz the tools suck.

Several small changes made to dak so they are less crap for the cost, they have slowly fallen behind as relic nerfed them over and over for the past year.

fixed missing build options for german coastal commander on pioneers.

added small nerf to default german overwatch ability, now recharges in 45 sec instead of 30. and costs 20 munitions, this was done to offset how powerful it is and discourage its oppressive use.(i cant apply the fix i actually want which is to lower the frequency between barrages because the tools in coh3 dont let me see those files. If i could, i wouldnt have gone this route so its a place holder nerf) The vet 3 version of the ability still recharges in 30 sec and only costs 10 munitions. This is intended punish losses of veteran units more, and make German players alittle less spammy with this extremely powerful ability.

Reworked the M8 Greyhound vet 1A upgrade to make it into a better recon unit than its current iteration because it needs a reason to exist sense the chaffee is better at anti-vehicle and infantry. Now has off map artillery ability, in addition to enhanced vision, however the offmap has a global cooldown to avoid it from being OP. (also lowered Greyhound HP to 300 sense it now has skirts upgrade)

At some point id love to give the Dak howitzers a buyable upgrade that lets them auto fire but we need better mod tools for that.

sorry for all the updates, but ive neglected the mod and game for some time but this should be the last update for quite awhile, unless i find anything critical.

this update has more bug fixes, more compatibility updates, LOTs of polish and some new features for the 20mm and 40mm flak emplacements like hold fire, target vehicles, target airplanes etc etc.

i also reduced the british Bren upgrade cost from 100 to 80 munitions.

-Applied a sloppy/temporary fix to the Dak 250 infantry rider bug (with no ETA of a good fix)..

The problem: Any edit or cloning of the 250s EBPS file breaks the passenger animations completely.
this means i have to use the default file..
Whats the issue with that?
Well i basically cant change HP, costs, armor, driving. anything about the unit really.

The Non-Solution:
For now im using the default hull even though i dont want to be. ill try and fix it someday when these god awful hyper restricted trash tools relic gave can actually seeing/ edit/ copying over whatever is causing the problem when you make a copy of the file. (yes im salty they are so limited and called anything other than a archive pre-viewer.. even full blown archive vewers are stronger than these "tools™" are..
Over 65% of the features in the EBPS and SBPS files are inaccessible in coh3, and that's to say nothing of all of the other files that cant be viewed, accessed or edited with the essence editor.)

TLDR its 20,000 million % unfixable right now.

Found and murdered more bugs. several actually.


Also made the Upkeep MP for infantry at a 1:1 ratio based off the population you have like how it was in coh1 and 2. end result is you shouldn't feel as choked out on income with a small army like you do in default coh3..
Idk why they broke what was already working and didnt need this silliness.

Huge update with too much crap to list.
Its mostly compatibility and polish stuff to bring the mod upto date with all the new default coh3 stuff.

their may still be some bugs here and there. please call them out/report them to me if you see them.

Oh and 1 of the big things this version did was rework the movement/accel of vehicles to something more sane.
Vehicles will not instantly accelerate or decelerate.


While again the update is 97% compatibility, The small changes that i have for the sake of record keeping are:
1: Wheeled vehicles generally have the highest top speed and some of the best acceleration times, but the worst decel times.
Light tanks are a step down form wheeled, mediums are kinda in the middle, & heavys have the worst accel times and lowest speed, but the fastest stopping times.

2: the US M3 75mm TD also has some new vet features, and 1 of them does have a visual bug that i cant fix atm.. just know that it is only on the users side. it does not affect if the enemy can see the unit or not. i did test that and i can report that cloak is fully intact even if it looks like the gun is floating. its not.

3: 75mm HE from pack howtizers and tanks damage has been lowered slightly so its not as punishing and doesn't 2 shot squads as much, it should now 3-4 shot them with most models dieing in 2 shots rather than 1. splash was unchanged because i believe having a large consistent splash is good, i just increased the TTK abit to lower the power.

4: UK and US pack-howitzers now auto target search like the Dak does and like mortars.. keep in min they were also reduced in power so they arent satalite nukes anymore when compared to mortars..


Ps: small admission. i was so caught up in the 2000 other things that got updated and changed that i don't have the new commanders so trouble shooting and adding that stuff in is going to be very difficult if i don't have access to that content. as such i may have forgotten to add those in. im off to check that right now. Standby for a 2nd hotfix soon™

Compatibility update to bring the mod in line with, and fix errors/crashes caused by the base games Uber Wasp update.
it will likely need more tuning but thats lower priority compared to all the crash/compatibility fixes that are in this update.
