"Fallen giants seldom pass on quietly, for even as they die, there are always pretenders seeking to take their place in the sun. The death of Czarist rule in Russia has inspired local Marxists, now called Bolsheviks, to seize control of not just Russia's destiny, but the entire trajectory of human history - even as the peoples of that empire fight not just for freedom from Bolshevism, but also from their enemies, the loyalist Whites, as well as a resurgent Germany eager to maintain her control on eastern Europe.

"This struggle for postwar survival and greatness is mirrored further south, wheree the nascent Turkish republic struggles with Greece for control of the Bosporus while simultaneously seeking to extend its influence into lands lost to Russia. Meanwhile, the seemingly victorious but fledgling Chinese republic is sundered by warring cliques who use corruption and coercion to usurp votes. Unsurprisingly, the Bolsheviks and Japanese see China as easy prey for different motives: the former attempts to subvert China for resources and allies, the latter seeks in China the means to challenge European imperialism and the Red Menace of Bolshevism in Asia.

"Together, the wake of these fallen giants - the Russian Empire, and the Qing dynasty - has grim consequences for peace in the Old World. It's been three years since the greatest war the world has ever seen came to a bitter close, yet the world is no less safer than it was back in that fateful summer more than seven years ago. Regardless, an era of NEW WORLD EMPIRES is about to visit the chapters of man's history - but at what cost to our own humanity?"


FEATURES

In contrast to previous mod projects, the New World Empires family instead is built around rushing, and this mod is no exception, continuing this theme of "cheap armies, costly cities" with....

  • Higher Pop Cap. The population cap is increased to a maximum population size of 600, but reaching so high a manpower count has its economic challenges.
  • Aggressive gameplay. Vanilla recruitment centres (Armoury, Drill Square) can be built right away without the need for "teching up", guaranteeing your being able to build an army right away. Nevertheless, teching up is a thing if you want more advanced units, particularly aircraft and tanks.
  • Colonial warfare. Fallen Giants is not just about the ways of democracy versus communism, or a game of rifles and tanks. Some factions still rely on units that can only best described as mediaeval, or have them outright as their primary military force - Asian nations, most notably the Russian, Muslim and Chinese nations all tend to do this. In addition, this mod investigates how the Asian colonies fed and sustained both the British and French colonial empires until their collapse during the Second World War.
  • Sudden Death! Because of the shorter timespan, buildings are cheaper, but cities have been drastically increased in cost and build time. Choose your settlement sites with care!
  • i-War. The LOS of most buildings and mercenaries is drastically reduced, making spies more useful. Professional units have higher LOS, while levies are almost deprived of them.

Last few remaining units (Greek, Russian, Turkish, Afghan) reviewed and recalibrated. This mod is very much ready to ship as of this date.

- integrate balance.x into the general game;
- rewrite help.x,

Sapper is being recast as melee unit capable of destroying vehicles with a single touch.

Basmachi and Russian foot are being resolved:
- Volunteers, Green Army, Renegade Russians assiogned to their proper factions.
- Basmachis given to Iran, Afghanistan: Afghanistan has sole access to the cavalry variant.
- Spearmen given to Chinese factions as a replacement for swordsmen at the Peasant Commune.
- Haydamaky, Khalkha Trtibesmen extant but not fully implemented or balanced.

Currently working on infantry for now, no more cavalry so.....

"Asia fares no better - while seemingly victorious in the Great War, the fledgling Chinese republic is sundered once more into several warring cliques, to whom democracy is nothing more than usurping votes through corruption and force of arms. This has attracted the attention of unwelcome outsiders - the Bolsheviks seek to subvert China to gain more riches and allies to complete the reconquest of the Rodina, while an embittered Japanese empire broods on with plots to challenge European imperialism in Asia, regardless of it being Red or White.

FEATURES

In contrast to previous mod projects, the New World Empires family instead is built around rushing, and this mod is no exception, continuing this theme of "cheap armies, costly cities" with....

  • Higher Pop Cap. The population cap is increased to a maximum population size of 600, but reaching so high a manpower count has its economic challenges.
  • Aggressive gameplay. Vanilla recruitment centres (Armoury, Drill Square) can be built right away without the need for "teching up", guaranteeing your being able to build an army right away. Nevertheless, teching up is a thing if you want more advanced units, particularly aircraft and tanks.
  • Colonial warfare. Fallen Giants is not just about the ways of democracy versus communism, or a game of rifles and tanks. Some factions still rely on units that still rely on mediaeval tactics, or have them outright as their primary military force - Asian nations, most notably the Russian, Muslim and Chinese nations all tend to do this. In addition, this mod investigates how the Asian colonies fed and sustained both the British and French colonial empires until their collapse during the Second World War.
  • Sudden Death! Because of the shorter timespan, buildings are cheaper, but cities have been drastically increased in cost and build time. Choose your settlement sites with care!
  • i-War. The LOS of most buildings and mercenaries is drastically reduced, making spies more useful. Professional units have higher LOS, while levies are almost deprived of them.

- Wonders not properly coded in, stats not finalised.
- Riflemen skins still untested, no assault infantry, or MG models done.

- Potez bomber requires Mil 4 to be built.
- Germano-Japanese Do N requires Subterfuge (tier2 Strat)
- British Vickers Vimy and Czech built Letov s16 require Wealth and Com 3 (Scientific Management).
- Not many factions get bomber aircraft, only European and Chinese factions get them. Ukraine and Tibet are notable in that they do not have access to an Airstrip (better get a spy to capture one).

FUNKCJE MODU

W przeciwieństwie do poprzednich projektów modów, kolekcja New World Empires modów jest zbudowana wokół pośpiechu, i ten mod nie jest wyjątkiem, kontynuując temat „tańszych armii, droższych miast” z...

  • Pop Cap jest zwiększony. Limit populacji wzrasta do maksymalnie 600 osób, chociaż osiągnięcie i utrzymanie tak dużej populacji będzie wiązać się z wyzwaniami ekonomicznymi.
  • Agresywna rozgrywka. Standardowe centra rekrutacyjne (Armoury/Zbrojownia, Drill Sq/Baza Szkoleniowa) można wybudować natychmiast, co pozwala na stworzenie armii bez konieczności inwestowania zbyt dużych środków w badania. Jednak nadal musisz „rozwojować technologicznie”, aby uzyskać dostęp do bardziej zaawansowanych jednostek, zwłaszcza samolotów i czołgów.
  • Wojna kolonialna. Fallen Giants wykracza poza uproszczoną opowieść o liberalizmie kontra komunizm. INTRO:

Gigantes caídos raramente morrem em silêncio — sempre há impostores buscando tomar seu lugar ao sol. A morte do regime czarista na Rússia inspirou marxistas locais, agora chamando-se os bolcheviques, a assumir o controle... enquanto o povo russo luta não apenas para se libertar do bolchevismo, mas também de seus inimigos, os brancos anti-bolcheviques, bem como de uma Alemanha ressurgente e ansiosa por manter seu domínio sobre a Europa Oriental.

  • Fidelidade aos Detalhes Históricos. Mergulhe no mundo da década de 1920 na Europa Oriental e na Ásia em 《Fallen Giants》 e os conflitos da época, com a Guerra Civil Russa de 1919-1921, a Era dos Senhores da Guerra na China e os problemas imperiais da Europa na Ásia sendo os destaques deste mod. Todas as facções aparecem com o tipo de unidades e tecnologias que hipoteticamente poderiam acessar em 1921-1929 d.C.
