  • Added the Acid Launcher directly to this mod to modify its crafting costs to use chemjelly instead of chemfuel and added it to the Mantodean Weapons Class so it would show up in sorting with the other mantodean weapons. NOTE: If Sig asks me to undo this change I will.

  • Made some capitalization fixes to some of the mantodean backstories I saw otherwise they remain unchanged.
    So instead of 'Mantodean hive builder', you now have 'Mantodean Hive Builder'. Stuff like that.

  • Y'all wont see it unless you go into the files but I made some of the parsing of the files easier with clearer breaks and proper alignments. Some prep-work for some other things I'm working on was also done that wont affect anything.

  • Tweaked Mantodean Race to no longer spawn occasionally with beards.
  • Added Chemjelly a new Mantodean resource made from Chemfuel and Mantodean Jelly. Can be unmade from Chemjelly back into Chemfuel but you lose the Mantodean Jelly in the process.
  • Added Mantodean Components a new Mantodean resource that replaces component in the medieval weapons. Made from 1 component, 15 Mantodean Jelly and 5 Chemjelly. This process is not reversible.

    I have also updated the requirements for the Spine Thrower, Heavy Spine Thrower and Crusher weapons to use the new materials. Later weapons in the industrial tier will use these new resources in the future of this mod.

    Chemjelly has three recipes to turn it into Chemfuel and there are three recipes to turn chemfuel into Chemjelly. They come in a x1 option that can be made at the Jellymaker and Chemical Refining Forge, a x10 option that can be made at the chemical forge and a x20 option that can also be made there.

    Mantodean Components can be made in both x1 and x4 at a time at the Mutagens bench.

-Extremely minor change to remove the Egglayer mod as a requirement as its no longer up on steam. I don't know what happened there but it is what it is.

This mod never really needed it, I only had it required because when I first started I thought I would need to pull from some of its files, so it doesn't change anything.

-Added a new mutagen. The Maroon Mutagen adds a arm very similar to the Red Mutagen however this one deals blunt damage making it more effective against Mechanoids and heavily armored late game enemies. Same research and resource requirements to the Red Mutagen.

-Added and tweaked the medieval level weapons. Mantodean Spine Thrower and Heavy Spine Thrower, as well as the Mantodean Crusher.

-Added the Mantodean Crafter backstory for adult Mantodean. This adds a background that gets points for Artistic and a greater bonus to crafting than any other Mantodean background. Also has a minor bonus to construction and a chance to start with the Industrious trait.

-Added file starts to prep for a new mutation item for Mantodean Limbs. Going to call it Maroon Mutagen, and it will effectively be like the Red Mutagen but offer blunt damage instead of piercing.

-Added the first Medieval Weapon in the form of a Heavy Crossbow like weapon inspired by Vanilla Expanded.

-Re-textured all weapons to make them more in line with Rimworld in general and to declutter them.

-Requirements to build now includes the use of the Mantodean Stinger for the Mantodean Spined Stinger and Longsting to represent them being mutations on the original Stinger. This concept will likely be brought forward from now on as a standard concept. Resource requirements will be adjusted for balance.
