Additions

-Added a few ships for the AI Pirate Fleet that use the added modules.

Changes

-Changed the Gunship/Pirate Gunship Bay dimensions from 6x4 to 7x4 in order to properly center the gunship within the Gunship bay.

- AI Pirate Nations now research pirate Technologies.


Fixes

-Centred the Gunship and Pirate Gunship so they don't extend outside the Gunship Bay when flipped.

-Added descriptions to the pirate research bonuses which were previously missing.

-Pirate hussars are now only available to pirate nations
after the pirate expansion research is complete.

Additions

MODULES:

-Gatling Hussar Rifle:An automatic version of the hussar rifle.

-Gunship Bay(And pirate variant):A massive hangar housing a relatively slow but durable mini airship equipped with a gatling hussar rifle.

-Blackbeard Barracks:A barrack housing veteran pirates that have received cybernetic augmentations

-Treasury Storage(And a small variant): Modules that produce income which can be placed in buildings,airships and landships.


TECH TREE:

A new custom tech tree which allows you to unlock new constructions as you go along.It also includes semi-custom pixel art.


SPECIALS:

Added a new map resource called the underground market which dramatically increases your trade income.


Diplomacy AI:

Added 2 new AI personalities exclusive to pirate nations.

Raider: An aggressive AI that prefers pillaging and asking for tribute.

Crime lord: A relatively passive AI which prefers expanding it's treasury through trade.


Changes

-Pirate nations can now research technologies introduced in the diplomacy update.

-Pirate crew and troops now have their upkeep properly lowered by Universal conscription and Martial Caste.

Note

Although this is one of the last content updates there are still certain things to address such as future balancing and creating more fleets for pirate nations to use(The AI does not currently have access to the new modules).And there will certainly be more map resources added in the future.

Changes

-Implemented the empire stats introduced in the diplomacy update

Pirate nation changes:

-Income modifier changed from -10% to -30%

-50% slower research speed(From the default)

-Pirate nations are now slightly less susceptible to espionage(Still more susceptible than regular nations)

-Production percentage penalty set from -25% to -15%

-Pirate nations now get a +50% income bonus when pillaging

-Pirate nations start with a reputation of 40(From the default value of 50)

Fixes

-Pirate bunks and pirate berths are now available for the correct building types

-Universal conscription now applies to pirate air sailors

Note:
This is only the first part of the update to ensure that the mod firstly works optimally with the diplomacy update.
There will be a second part which will include content additions such as new map resources and modules and a custom pirate diplomacy behaviour for AI factions.

Additions:

-Pirate AI fleet expanded using the newly introduced AI fleet editor.

Changes:

-Changed the pirate quarters in buildings to pirate barracks(Played a role in the high defences maintenance costs in conquest)

-Changed the income percentage modifier from -15% to -10%

Note: There are still issues with how buildings are placed for certain tiers starts in conquest. There will be further experimentation with the fleet editor in order to make the initial building placement as balanced as possible.

-Fixed an issue where pirate air hussars would disappear while docked when zooming out

Known issues

- Pirate nations may have a detrimental building placement distribution at the beginning of a conquest campaign

-Inability to edit ships made from the bonus construction menu(Planning to work on a solution but it should be allowed to perform all functions through the defences screen for the time being)

Fixed the pirates image being replaced due to a naming conflict
