UPDATE: Belly of the Beast Edition! (I'm not gonna spoiler tag this one, so, warning, major spoilers here.)

Y'know how I said in the footnotes (which are now gone) that I was gonna redo the Beast and Ultra Horsemen's Strider Battle music? Well, I've finally done it! The stinger arrangements have been redone to not only align with each other better when transitioning, but I also made some creative fixes to them, using some different stingers in different places, arranging them differently, etc.

Not only this, but I added a couple of intros to some other songs:
- The basic boss fight music, Kaon, now has an intro,
- And the Corpse music now uses the transitioning stinger from the beginning garage portion with the Strider to the garage combine fight in Alyx as an intro. I also added a layered version to this one.

With that said, I think I can leave this mod satisfied. Hope you all enjoy the entirety of this mod for what it is now. Will I ever come back with an update? Unlikely, unless I need to fix something.

Alright! Once again, happy listening science team!

Update: 1 Aug, 2021 @ 2:24pm

'You thought I was dead' update, incoming!

Finally, I got some time to sort out some more improvements for the songs in this mod. This time, I've got quite a few.
- Looping was improved with the Void floor's music, Hunting Party,
- Several intros have been introduced to songs that previously had none, including the following:
- Delirium Fight (Self Destruction)
- Mother Fight (originally known as Tanker Arena, now known as "Terin #6")
- The Ascent (Alyx's "Vault Mirror Room")
- Boss Rush (Outbreak is Uncontained)
- Big one! The final-final boss encounter of Repentance got a revamp in his music! Dogma originally had "Lightning Dog" and "Rapid Lightning" as it's battle music, but now it's the much more battle-tense "Vault Combat" from HL: Alyx. Not only this, but the voice overlays got tweaked to not only include some voice lines from HL2 and HL: Alyx, but also some Breencast excerpts since I realized that those would've been the perfect equivilent to the preachers in "Living in the Light." In addition to both of these, the intro stinger into the Dogma Battle was also changed to reflect the tweaks better.
- Finally, the Sountrack Menu compatibility has been fixed!... as in, I decided to completely give up on making it actually compatible and opted to just leave it as a default sountrack mod. Maybe not ideal, but to make it compatible-compatible would be more trouble than it's worth. At the very least, the ghost HL soundtrack duplicate has been removed, so now it's just the default soundtrack by itself when looking in the config menu.

That should be all of the changes... I'll try to keep supporting this mod as much as I can. If there's anything else that could be changed or fixed, let me know. Thank you for your patience.

Update: 21 Jun, 2021 @ 4:30pm

SHMEDIUM UPDATE:
-- A proper music.xml file was finally implimented! This fixes my absolute biggest pet peeve with the Repentance OST files and adds in several new intros to several songs! This includes:
- Steam in the Pipes (Downpour)
- Nectarium (Dross)
- Military Precision (Mines)
- Eon Trap (Mausoleum)
- Nepal Monestary (Gehenna)
- Particle Ghost (Utero)
- Hunting Party (The Void)

-- Once again messed with the volume slightly for that "final-final" boss as done in a previous update to try and hit that sweet-spot of loudness.

-- I did some testing with the Soundtrack Menu Mod, and for reasons unknown, I am having more trouble than I'd like to admit to get it working with this mod. However, it can technically work as a default soundtrack, so it can coexist with other sountrack mods in the Soundrack Menu if they don't interfere with the base game OST. Just note that there are remnants of my testing in the actual mod files and as such, there is a blank "Half Life Soundtrack" as part of the menu that doesn't actually work. If you want to hear the actual HL OST, use the "Default" soundtrack. If you want to shuffle the songs without fear of getting empty tracks, just disable the non-functioning Half Life Soundtrack in the menu.

Goals for next update(s): Replace "Lightning Dog" and "Rabid Lightning" with Alyx's "Vault Combat" instead; Get this mod properly compatible with the Soundtrack Menu; find something more suiitable for the Ascent?

Anyway, until next time, I suppose.

Update: 7 Jun, 2021 @ 12:49am

SOME FIXES: Now everything should be back to its latest version, with the Super Secret Room music fixed and all that came after that. I swear I'll come back with more substantial changes later.

Update: 7 Jun, 2021 @ 12:06am

APOLOGIES: I noticed that the Ultra Secret Rooms (ones found via Red Key) did not have the correct music, and due to real life circumstances, I currently do not have access to the Hacking music intros and loops. As such, I'm briefly reverting back to this version to retrieve the correct music loops, and will then input them back into the mod along with whatever changes I made after this update. (Assuming the loops are there, anyway...)

Update: 6 Jun, 2021 @ 12:27pm

MINOR UPDATE: Changed the Mausoleum music to "Eon Trap" so it isn't as contrasting to Gehanna's "Nepal Monestary."

That is all. I'm almost finished with acedemic stuff for the year, so soon I'll be able to make this mod have it's unique .lua file for loops, layers and intros, as well as make this mod compatible with the Soundtrack Menu mod for Repentance! Stay tuned for that!

Update: 24 May, 2021 @ 10:27pm

MINOR UPDATE: Edited a few song files to sound more quiet in-game. All of these files relate to the songs used for the "final-final" boss, the Beast and the Ultra Horsemen, and were all de-amplified by five decibels. Hopefully they don't blast anyone's eardrums out now.

That is all. Good day.

Update: 20 May, 2021 @ 10:45am

MINOR UPDATE: Ultra Secret Rooms (ones found via Red Key) now have Half-Life: Alyx's "Hacking" as their music! (Was previously just "Probably Not A Problem," but reversed.)

That is all. Thank you to everyone who's been enjoying the mod thus far! I'll come out with more substantial updates (probably) next month!
