Changelog
V2,0 (15-7-2015):

  • Fixed Norse God localisation error.
  • Fixed bug in ambitions that stopped tribes from taking either "Get married" or "Gain a title".
  • Faction claim CB now follows gender law rules of other claim CBs.
  • Fixed error in deciding whether or not women and men were valid for enatic or agnatic claimant factions.
  • Removed date restriction on adventurers (were set to be only possible after Old Gods start date).
  • Fixed some counsellor bugs (added in hiding restriction, allowed spouses and parents to be spymasters)
  • Fixed a rare bug where a non-feudal character is upset at their liege for having a different gender succession law would not have the opinion removed.
  • Setup events cover nomadic rulers (forced agnatic).
  • Added decisions to hire female soldiers (enatic and female preferred realms) and random gender soldiers (truly equal realms).
  • Enforce gender law decisions now filter for court only, same as blinding and castrating. This has lead to much better performance.
  • Various faction updates, may have missed some things.
  • Updated CBs to new patch.
  • Updated landed titles.
  • Updated a number of ambition things.
  • Updated religions.
  • Updated counsellor jobs.
  • Updated crown laws.
  • Updated demesne laws.
  • Updated succession laws.
  • Updated decisions folder.
  • Updated assume gender law decisions.
  • Updated events.
  • Updated minor titles.
  • Split off Lollard feudal temples mod from Better Gender Law Mod. The two mods are fully compatible with one another.
Known issues:
  • Titles that were given out to alternative heirs through gavelkind still use the default succession law.
  • When using the change gender law decisions, the list of successors is not refreshed. In non-elective realms, you will either need to reload, wait for your ruler to die, or have a child for this to change. In elective ones, the only issue is that votes for candidates that don't qualify for the title will maintain their votes until their supporters change their votes to someone else.
  • Under Free Investiture Law, women cannot be appointed as successors to bishoprics in Lilithian realms.
  • Sons generate landless son prestige loss regardless of gender law.
  • Landless men can be granted titles under enatic and enatic-cognatic succession even without a claim on the title. The AI will give out land to men over women no mater what gender law they're using.
  • Random female Councillors are all age 30.
  • The investiture system is hardcoded to only allow men to be appointed as successors. Female priest religions can still get randomly generated female priests.
  • When voting in elective realms, AI controlled rulers will always prefer male candidates over female ones when not voting for landed rulers or with their liege.
  • AI controlled characters in Enatic and cognatic realms will still prefer regular marriages over matrilineal ones after themselves and their immediate heir and are very bad at keeping their dynasty in power.

Update: 28 Aug, 2014 @ 11:44pm

Changelog
V1,97 (29-8-2014):

  • Can now freely change gender preference in cognatic realms. It was possible to inherit other gender preference laws from other characters or wind up with the wrong law in some way.
  • Event reminding you to set your gender preference law comes up less often. If you're voting on a law when this event comes up choose "not now".
  • Temporary fix for Great Holy War trigger event only applying to men until this is fixed in the base game.
  • Gave Maryites a Virgin Mary Flag. Image was acquired from chantalstainedglass.50megs.com The in game image is slightly squashed.

Changelog
V1,95 (22-6-2014):

  • Added two new minor titles for christians that can only be given to women, they become available as you move towards female preference.
  • Seneschal is now giveable to women if you have at least absolute cognatic, and cannot be given to men if you have enatic or enatic-cognatic.
  • Master of the Horse and Master of the hunt are lost as you move towards enatic.
  • The venerable elder title is no longer only givable to men.
  • The champion title is like the seneschal title.
  • Hirdman is like the seneschal title.

  • Still unchanged are Zoroastrian, Indian, and Byzantine minor titles and a female only Norse title will probably be added later.

Update: 3 Jun, 2014 @ 5:20pm

Changelog
V1,94 (3-6-2014):

  • Solved a very strange issue with the Maryite Matriarchy, I have no idea how it was screwed up, but apparently changing the date in the history file from 20 to 21 solved the issue. Note that this only fixes new games, for old ones, open the console and type 'event BGL.168' to create the Maryite Matriarchy.
  • The Manichean Zoroastrian heresy now allows female priests and prefers absolute-cognatic succession with male preference (note that they're the one Zoro heresy that doesn't have divine blood or allow concubines in the base game).
  • Made it so that holy orders can spawn for Maryites and Lilithians.
  • Added an alert decision/event telling the player to choose a gender preference under cognatic, and an option to trigger voting on the law.

Update: 24 May, 2014 @ 1:35pm

V1,93 (24-5-2014):

  • Accidentally broke ambitions, they're fixed now.

Update: 24 May, 2014 @ 12:40pm

V1,92 (24-5-2014):

  • Your spouse won't take the ambition to gain a title any more.
  • Fixed the issue of rulers always switching gender law when their liege has a different one. They will now, correctly, only switch their gender law if they were recently given their title, if gender forcing mode is on, or if they're baron tier.
