UPDATE: Due to ever more popular opinion adjusted SPARK Healing Rate to be higher than normal to account for having more SPARKS healing/in rotation

UPDATE: Due to popular feedback, reset the SPARK healing rate back to the default base game rate of 80. The config is still easily accessable from the mod for people that do want to change it :)

BUGFIX: Fixed an oversight in the allowed units in slot check, that was making the Auto-Fill function fill the slot for wounded SPARKS that were out on missions or on covert actions.. doh!

FEATURE UPDATE: From a suggestion from CerebralCloud92 on discord; now has an option to ensure that Character Templates added to the ExtraSparkSoldierTemplatesForSlot list in the config are correctly assigned as bIsRobotic in their Character Template.

This is mainly to force a switch for the MEC Troopers, if they are set to be needing to use the ERRF Slots.

The MEC Troopers option is disabled by default, as .. I'll be honest .. I have no idea currently what, if any, knock-on effects this would have for MEC Troopers, but I can't forsee any issues.

All other supported units already have this flag set to true so... ...

BUGFIX: Fixes an issue that allowed tired soldiers to go on covert ops, oversight on my part! Should not cause any issues with ongoing campaigns, any units sent out tired should still finish thier covert op.. just new units can't be selected for the CA slot if tired/shaken.

Wounded SPARKS can still go on covert ops though :)

BUGFIX: Should now work correctly and auto-detect if Starting SPARK is also subbed too. A new game should have 2 unlocked slots (not 3) and the first proving ground project correctly opens the 3rd slot ... this fix is not retro-active

FEATURE UPDATE: Now recognises EWR Squadmates as 'robotic' by default. This can be changed in the configs.

Yes, I jumped a few steps from v1.6.1 to here. This is because of the near year gap in development and because of all the new stuff in this version.
I can't remember everything but here goes;

BUGFIXES:

  • Several minor bugfixes cleared up, internal code refactored and thought out again.
  • Caught a config typo error
  • Fixes NON staffed robotic units still repairing
  • Fixes issues caused by slots unlocking by -building- SPARKS, in base game, MW and MOF

FEATURE UPDATES:
  • Always start with 2 slots now, and have the full 4 able to be purchased, for 6 total
  • Full 'robotic' conversion of Kiruka's buildable units
  • Full 'robotic' conversion of RealityMachina's Geth Primes
  • Open config to allow more Character Templates in slots
  • Should no longer clash with Mechatronic Warfare
  • Should no longer clash with Metal Over Flesh
  • Support added for Starting Spark and SPARK Custom Classes
  • Wounded SPARKS can go on Covert Operations, with paused healing
  • New PG tech to recover SPARK cores if you have more dead SPARKS than cores
  • Slots have No Drop Down lists support/integration
  • Detailed Soldier Lists has custom strings for units BEING REPAIRED
  • NON-Staffed units no longer heal for free
  • Empty slots fill up automatically if they detect damaged units
  • Minor localisation edits to this, MW and MoF for a cohesive experience
  • New SPARK Datacore image
  • ... and likely some stuff I forgot!
