- added of curved elements (foundations, walls, half-walls, window frames, door frames, trimwall) for all styles of materials
- added spiral stairs
- added a 20 degree sloped plank roof

in total, about 85 additional elements

Updated Desert Town to match the new version of the game.
At the same time, you will be able to test the new elements in development.

- Added a new building tab called "test" to display new test building item
- Added a curved wall with round doorframe and one other with a window
- Added rounded plank ceilings
- Added 45 degree tiles roof and 20 degree roof with tiles to fit with white wall
- Added a 45 degree wooden plank roof
- Added a tile roof ridge (trim) to be placed top of tiles roof
- fixed the admin chest icon

As there is a new update of the DevKit (preparing the Sorcery Chapter 3), I published now a new update for @Desert Town
- Added two elements above (half ramp with and without ramp)
- New version for the triangular ceiling, to be in the same style as the square ones.
- Added a curved wall, it's a test, I'm not sure if I'm proposing other elements with quarter rounds, it requires a lot of modification for it to attach properly.

Big update
This Redesign Project #2 was started last October (with a break in December).
Desert Town had already been redesigned last year between January and March I think.
Hundreds of hours of work, data tables to organize everything.
All the building blocks were recreated from scratch.
New and exciting ways to combine the elements (more on that later).

There are more than 520 objects and recipes and as many icons generated many times.
Approximately 480 construction elements, of which 60-80 elements are available in different materials.

As most of the items have been modified extensively, your current savegames would no longer be able to display the builds. The elements will therefore be replaced by alternative models (textured with blue grid pattern for walls or orange grid pattern for wood)
A conversion script to be performed on the backup will be provided so that you can recover your constructions as if nothing had been impacted.

DESERT TOWN BUILDINGS CONVERTOR

In order to facilitate the conversion of the old building models to the new ones, I have written a conversion script that you will find in a .zip archive file.

The zip archive contains 2 files:
- desert_town_buildings_convertor_1.0.bat
This .bat file contains the script to do the update, you will have to edit the name of your backup if you use a custom map. This is the file you will have to run.
- desert_town_buildings_list.txt
This .txt file contains the old and new path mappings for the build elements

Before running the script, you need to update the mod -
Also, I advise you to run the game to make sure that everything went well -
Your buildings will have a blue frame texture for the walls and orange for the wooden elements.


If you are playing solo and your game is saved on your PC, you need to put the .bat and .txt file in the same directory as your save game.
Then launch the .bat. A copy of your savegame is made before the script modifies the content to avoid corrupting your savegame.
⚠️ But if you want to be extra careful, you can also make your own backup before running the .bat.

If you are playing on a server, you will have to upload your backup file first to be able to run the script, as I don't think it is possible to run the .bat on a remote server.
I will post the script > on my Discord[discord.com] when the mode update is online, after a certain delay to avoid rush.

Content of the last update:
- tried to solve the display problem with some textures that sometimes look blurry (set some textures to "never stream")
- fixed textures for prefabricated houses
- added a Wall Trim in the form of a wooden beam, to try (it's available in the Desert Stone Buildings category, sorry, it's not logical, I forgot to modify)- modification of the Ceiling form to have a flat continuity (as requested on my Discord)
- the old ceilings are still available under the name Ceiling Slab
- added a Wall Flat Triangle (to place on the side of the stairs)
- added a Straight Half-Stairs
- modified the collision of the Hanging Lantern to have less head banging
- removed all destructible models, now that there is no more destruction animation, which reduces the weight of the mod

I made this update before doing, once again for this mod, an in-depth revision of the building elements.

fixed a parameter that made the recipes appear only in creative mod for most of decorations items
fixed the rounded door recipes (Desert Wooden Door 5) that made a rectangular door
