SPARTA:

- Neodamodes Hoplitai, Spartan Homoioi got graphics coded in but not implemented. Homoioi's stats from KC0 got transferred over.
- Scavenged Uthum's Spartan Hoplite for use with our mod. Is meant to represent Hippeis or "Knights" for Sparta. Not sure what the benefits of this unit are but it should be available, early on, without political wrangling.

We ran into a snag with heavy infantry - the biggest issue.

Suggest the following:

- Warriors - import over from Age of Empires. Used by Gandhara + Balkans et al. Assign Hoplitai, Hoplites Sabelli as an upgrade.
- Supplementary units: Promakhoi, Spartans, Medium spearmen.

OTHER UNITS: Sreni (Magadha), Spearmen (Kush, Saka, Sarmatoi, Kushans), Lukhata (Sabaioi), Gaelaiche (Boioi spearman)

Once this is done, we can simply have Horseman, Horse Raiders, and Akontistai and Toxotai assigned to this mod.

OTHERWISE:

- Pack up Age of Empires.
- Pack up Rise of Napoleon.
- Move core RKC files out of Dropbox, and into The Northern Ravens. Pack up the old Rise of Kings files for safekeeping.

I had unitrules.x revised. The original was flawed and we need to rethink how to add Greek hopper units.

Probably the plans we need are as such:

Infantry: Promachoi, Toxotai, Akontistai.
Cavalry: Horseman, Horse Raiders (replaced by Hippakontistai, Hippeis?)
Boats:

- Heavy: Dieres (but Poeni, Korinthoi already begin the game with Trieres researched)
- Medium: Triakonter
- Light: War Boats / War Canoes / Akation
- Suicide: Fire Raft / Fire Vessel (available only to Achaemenids, Poeni and Aigyptoi)

The problem then lies in adding Mantlets which are supposed to auto-entrench like Greek Hoplitai. How do we do this?

EASY - set up the MARINES entry to coords [1,0]. Then, have other units (Hoplitai Haploi, Mantlet) take this position.

What have we got?

-Psiloi, Promakhoi at the Barracks.
- sphendonetai, Akontistai at the Hovels.

Psiloi are replaced by Bowmen for some factions.

As for the Populust units:

Ekdromoi, Toxotai, Peltastai/Euzonoi.

Who getrs Euzonoi and who gets Peltastai?

Euzonoi - mainly associated with Odrysians.

Restored the old system for Kings & Conquerors. We're not ready to replace everything yet.

Legacy units from Kings & Conquerors are gradually being blanked out, with the Greek units being recast as the base units:

Infantry: Promachoi, Toxotai, Akontistai.
Cavalry: Hippeis, Hippakontistai.

- Building graphics, from Warbirth.
- Unitrules system, from The Hellenistic Era.

Warbirth: Age of Empires has finally passed muster.

- Insert modules for Warbirth into this mod.
- Redo all the tribes, so that we get the following:

o Roman (DEFAULT) Poeni, Sabini, Illyroi, Etruscans
o Greek (AMERICAN) Paeonians Epiros, Thebes, Corinth, Larissa, Athens, Macedon, Sparta
o Parthian/Eastern (INDIA)Persia, Yuzhi, Sarmatoi, Scythians, Odrysians, Getae, Gandhara
o Afro-Arab (ARAB) Egypt, Saba, Nubians
o Celtic (NA) Boii
o Indians (ASIAN) Magadha
