The combat system

New and tested feature which is INACTIVE by default. Activate with mod option "Dangerous LiF". The feature can be activated/deactivated in an existing savegame.

* Humans and animals have health points
* animated fighting with sounds
* Raiders and most animals can not be killed with one single blow or arrow. Better tools improve the hit chance and damage.
* Attacked targets will fight back and can injure or kill the attacker. Better clothing reduces damage taken.
* Injured citizens need to heal up in a hospital or at home before they can hunt again.

*** This feature is COMPATBLE with "Dangerous Animals" mod by jimm0thy. "Dangerous Animals" should be below this mod in the modifications list ***

* Gates and drawbridges now have sounds for opening and closing.

* Hunters employed at wathhouses will patrol the area around their workplace (and attack human enemies if encountered)

* Hunters employed at towers now have to be physically at their tower in order to shoot arrows.

* The wooden fort now has the correct research technologies available (for playing with "Research&Academy")

* New mod feature: Aggressive animals
- Wild carnivores and omnivores will try to raid your storages and barns for edibles. In turn the change for attacks on pastures is lowered.
- Shy carnivores will no longer attack the village in bright daylight.
- If children go into the forest without an adult to protect them, well, remember about red riding hood?

This mod feateure is in testing and is INACTIVE by default. It can be activated or deactivated in an existing savegame.

* Villagers can again walk through drawbridges that had been closed and then opened again.

Fixed a graphic bug with the round towers being invisible since the latest game patch.

Update:

* Fixed an error that caused the wooden fort to become inaccessable during upgrading.

* Increased arrow supply distance for all towers; and manual stocking is now possible.

* Tower sounds when an animal is killed are no longer audible accross the town.

* Tower storage capacities have been increased so to avoid problems with mod increased carryweight.

* Corrected a bug where the wooden tower displayed the wrong error when no more arrows were available.
