Just like in the vanilla game, active ragdolls will go limp when hit with force or falling off a high cliff. This was broken in the mod because of the changed dying animation code. The mod's version increases the resistance so that high falls causes KO states but little force is require for normal attacks as the random chance from this mod still works.

Fixed various bugs when attacking dying targets due to conflicting ragdolls applied to a single character
-Fixed a CTD when hit
-Fixed ragdolls not killed when hit and corrected death timer
-Fixed ragdolls becoming alive again when hit
